So unless a person has a digital antennae, the only way to see the Hillsboro State game on TV is on ESPN+.
Is this correct?
Umm… Hillsboro is a city, not a state

I just want to say that if you don't have ESPN+ as a Bobcat fan, you're missing out. Every single conference game and OOC home game is on there, plus many road OOC games (against conferences with a similar deal that the Big Sky has with ESPN+). You also get every other Big Sky teams' games, as well as all of the Big Sky basketball games. It is well worth the money to be able to follow the Cats and the rest of the conference throughout multiple sports on a single app
It's the best thing that's ever happened to me in this life.
I'm going to watch a PSU game or two tonight. The other awesome thing about it is how quickly you can watch or re watch a game, they make it super easy to FF through all the junk and just watch the plays.
What was the best thing in your previous life

ESPN+ will be your only option. If we were an FBS school, I would say you could probably find a stream somewhere on the high seas. And like I said earlier, ESPN+ is 100% worth it as a Cat fan

You can do a one month subscription on ESPN+ for $10. I had to do it last weekend as I was down in Colorado for a family event. While the rest of the family was watching the Notre Dame game, I streamed the Cats game. And just have to cancel before my one month is up

Got this info from Bill Lamberty with MSU Athletics......
PSU – CBS
CP – CBS
SAC – ESPN2
UI – CBS
NAU – MTN (formerly the CW)
EWU – MTN (formerly the CW)
UM – CBS stations
* all of the above games except SAC should be on ESPN+ also
Some other references......

If you can't get the TV broadcast, you can watch the radio broadcast live on YouTube.

If you only want to watch FB and BB games, say September through March, you can subscribe monthly for seven months and then shut it off again. It is somewhat cheaper to subscribe for the year, like 12 months for 10, but seven months would be the cheapest set of NCAA Sports tickets ever. I absolutely love that the Big Sky finally joined with ESPN+. A year of ESPN+ makes a really nice gift for dad or granddad, just to say thanks.

We live out of town and don't watch a lot of TV, but we have a traditional OTA (OverTheAir) antenna outside (FWIW, even the older antennas pick up digital OTA signals). We receive all local channels/networks, including all versions of the local CBS/MTN affiliates (4.1, 7.1, 7.5, 9.1, etc.).
We've never had any issues watching the Cats on those channels or on SWX versions. If MTN is listed on the official MSU Football schedule [
https://msubobcats.com/sports/football/schedule/2023], then we can watch it. If a particular game is not on MTN, we make other arrangements, usually helping to support a watch party with my brother who seems to have every sports network/channel in the world.
Go Cats!
