I have yet to see the game, but that run and kiss is AWESOME! Great attitude!
As a fan, yes, I laughed as well……. But I am guessing Vigen will be having a little “chat” with Julius this week. Not the type of behavior he approves of. Haha

Julius was super chirpy this game, every play he was talking trash to a Weber player or their sideline. I love the intensity, but he probably needs to pump the breaks on the trash talking.
I think he was upset about a couple facemask no calls. Was upset at the refs for not calling it but also bbq for seemingly continuing to do it.

I counted three missed face masks calls that were pretty obvious. All right in front of either the line judge or back judge. Pretty shocking that no flag was thrown on any of them. Davis was getting pretty upset about, and rightfully so. Granted, the barking at the refs should come from the coaches, but you can understand Davis' emotions running pretty hot.

Three no calls on very blatant facemasks. Pushed well out of bounds on a play and I swear on one play some Weber dork wearing a yellow jersey on their sideline wanted to get in his face. Weber was on the receiving end of the ‘find out’ with him.

This defense has now held #1 SDSU scoreless in the 1st half and shutout #10 Weber. Buckle up folks.

What is odd
- we beat the #10 team in the nation tonight.
- we shutout the #10 team.
- we had 500 yards of offense for the third game
- we will lead the nation this week in scoring, rushing and total offense.....

Yet we won't move an inch in the polls with SDSU and NDSU firmly locked into the #1 and #2 position (with byes this week). Now if we get to the 4th and 5th game and have similar results, perhaps those stats will move the voters.. but not betting on it.
Stand Corrected. #2 in total offense - edged out by 2 YPG by sleeper team in SOCON - Western Carolina playing bottom feeder and #2 in Scoring- edged out bye SDSU who did not play. :) See what next week brings.

Chambers should be the starter. Hot take.
Agree!
Let’s all get in trouble together... I completely agree!!! With that said, I still think Tommy is the most dangerous weapon we have. I’m just not certain we are using him the best to his abilities.
Chambers can sit in the pocket, go through all reads, run it if it’s there, or-and lastly - run if he has to because it isn’t there. Tommy has not shown that yet this year.
Well said…

Chambers looked great last night. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if he started. However he does have a tendency to throw a bad pick once in a while. Threw one at sdsu and almost threw a pick 6 last night but the DB dropped the ball.
I think sticking with both him and Mellott is the way to go.

Tommy just doesn't take any big chances in the passing game. He would have run on the play that could maybe have been a pick 6. In that situation, probably a better option, but not always. Chambers is definitely a look to pass until it's not there kind of QB.

Tommy looked really good when he played. Throws and decisions looked pretty sharp to me.

Whether he or Sean starts makes no difference to me. More importantly I really believe it doesn’t matter to them, which is a pretty great place to be with two great players.

Great time to be a Bobcat.

The fact that Sean and Tommy put the success of the the team over their own success truly exemplifies the brotherhood this team has. The entire team is the epitome of what it means to be a team. Brothers.
It is absolutely a great time to be a Bobcat

The Weber band director is all over Facebook talking a lot about how trashy the MSU football team is. The team apparently were yelling expletives and bumping into the band. And there was something about the team was out there when they shouldn’t be. Anyone who was there have any insight?
Bad planning by Weber State. The band probably should not still be performing with less than 5 minutes left in halftime while both teams have returned to the field. They definitely shouldn't be exiting the field through the visiting sideline with a minute left before kickoff as the team is preparing for the second half.
I’m a big fan of college bands. It’s one of the things that makes college football awesome. But I’m noticing a trend that bothers me so bad and Weber did it. The band is allowed to play between plays up to a certain point. Cool. But what I hear happening is that they don’t actually play music…they just blare on their instruments as loud as they can until the clock says stop. SDSU did it a ton and Weber did it every third down. At that point it isn’t a band, just a bunch of college kids with obnoxious artificial noise makers. Which come playoff time is illegal. Unless someone can correct me and what I hear through the broadcast. I think it’s bush-league and shouldn’t be legal.
My wife notice the same thing. It wasn’t a song, just random noise from the band at times trying to distract the opposing offense. Seems petty.

Our RB depth is just stupid.
This might be the POTY. Stupid is really the best way to describe it. When I step back and think about the fact that we don't have our top two RBs from the Fall (still hoping Sumner can play at some point), AND Ifanse is gone crushing it at Cal, yet we're still this good at the RB position? It's astounding really. I don't even know who our 6th string RB is at this point but I'm pretty sure we would have still beat Weber with him taking every snap.

It must have worked. The Cats didn’t score 60.

Isn't that targeting at the end of this play? Being somewhat sarcastic here, but there is a ton of helmet to helmet contact that isn't called.

Also I don't mind a little bravado I guess what bothers me on this play is Davis taking a moment off of his concentration on the play to make a statement. After the play or after the game is more appropriate in my eyes.

I appreciate the attitude of this team and would definitely buy an NIL shirt that memorializes "the kiss."
