I saw this posted on egriz. I didn't vote. But, I think that Griz fans don't understand that Bobcat fan's priorities have changed over the last five years.
When the streak was intact for the Griz, I would say that a lot of Bobcat fans wanted/needed to see that victory over their rival.
Even though a victory over the Griz is still a sweet thing. I would also say that a lot of Bobcat fans came away from this year with bittersweet feelings (as BAC stated). The reason is as our program has turned around and headed into the realm of conference contender, national rankings, etc our expectations for the team have risen.
I was truly disappointed that we did not make the playoffs this year. I was really set on watching a home playoff game here this year. But, it didn't happen.
At the same time, I celebrated like crazy when we beat the Griz.
But, pleeeeeeeaaaaaaaase do not accuse us of wanting nothing more then a victory over the Griz.

Scats, I would assume that you would pick "Lose to the Cats and go to the playoffs, and then get your ass handed to you at home in the first round." Since all the Griz care about is going to the playoffs, even if it means getting blown out at home and losing to their archrival… This is the attitude we need from those lowly Griz fans.

I don't want to pile on a fellow Griz fan, but I didn't really like the language of this poll either. You worry first about winning this game, and then you worry about the playoffs. Griz/Cat is the most important game of the year, though.GOKATS wrote:Neither of the above, so I didn't vote. Stupid poll.
My vote: beat the griz and make the playoffs.
