Not yet this week that I know of, but classes start next Wednesday, the 11th, so hopefully, we will hear about a couple more transfers by then.

Things should get pretty active beginning tomorrow. I expect 3-4 I-A transfers to MSU.

Any idea as to who, or what to expect? What positions? I know I should wait until tomorrow, but would like to know any type of news.

One rumor is that the coaches are looking these guys from UNLV over pretty good. Wheaton from there is already on board, but others may follow. Mostly the receiver position.

What's going on at UNLV? Did they fire their coach?
Monte eats corn the long way.

UNLV was HORRIBLE! Most of the BSC would have beaten them this year. I'd rather get transfers from Tech.

Nice. Way to break out the Welcome Wagon.
Don't get carried away, I doubt anyone in the BSC was as good as UNLV, but perhaps one team would beat them if all eight had played them.

Not this year, but last. Their coach was John Robinson and I don't know if he quit or was fired. So this year's team was under a first year coach. They were 2-9 with wins over Idaho and San Diego St. They had five losses by 10 pts or less in the Mtn West.

Would that be Virginia Tech? Georgia Tech? or Texas Tech?

UNLV's weaknes was their defense last year. They gave up a ton of points last year so I doubt their offense was on the field as much as they would have liked. I think with the right coaching/change of scenery Wheaton (maybe more) will come in and do just fine in our spread offense (especially with Groves/Taito in the mix).
