The BSC is the 16th rated conference according to Ken Pomeroy. It's so good to see such a strong showing by our conference.

BIG (SKY) IMPROVEMENT: The Big Sky Conference is currently 50-37 against non-conference competition. In 2004-2005, the Big Sky was 44-62 in non-conference games. The Big Sky is 6-0 against the Big West, 6-3 against the West Coast Conference and 5-5 against the WAC this season. In 2004-05, the Big Sky finished a combined 7-27 against those leagues, including an 0-13 mark against the West Coast Conference. The Big Sky went 7-42 in road non-conference games last season. The Big Sky is currently 17-23 in non-conference road games. The Big Sky is 28-5 at home in non-conference games this season. The Big Sky Conference finished the previous week 11-3.

It's nice to see a more competitive Big Sky. I guess the conference champion won't be necessarily relegated to a 15 or 16 seed. There's no real team that looks like the whipping boy this year, except for maybe Weber State.
