We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons..that would take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.

We're just the guys to do it!

Being a person who has lived and died with the Bobcats the last twenty years, I can honestly say that the end is near for the streak. Next year is our year! Almost the entire team returns next season including all of the best playmakers. I know the game is in Missoula, but I think we have an excellent chance to end it there. I feel you guys would be very sorry if you weren't there to tear down U of M's goalposts with me next fall, so I'm offering you 1 year to get your life organized enough to make the journey back to Montana for three days that will be more important than any class or job. The game is on either November 16 or 23, but Im almost certain that it will be on the 23rd. I figured I could call in Jan or Feb to reserve rooms in Missoula depending on interest from yall. I figured the Campus Inn would work great with its proximity to downtown and the stadium, and is also very affordable. Tickets would be easy enough to gain if I stay on top of it throughout the summer. If this sounds like something that interests you, please let me know ASAP. Also if you have friends would be interested as well let me know. I'm just getting excited typing this. Hope to hear from you soon.

(I must be a prophet!! Bow down to me and to what I have created. Actually I just found this on my email in my draft section, it gave me quite a rush rereading it!)

I swear, it's like I'm playin' cards with my brother's kids or somethin'. You nerve-wrackin' sons-a-bitches.'

That is awesome and brings back pleasant memories. I remember the day before the game I was flying back from a business trip and while in the SLC airport sat down next to some guys decked out in Bobcat gear. Turns out one of them was Lulay's dad, Dennis? Talked to him for a few minutes and I'll never forget when I asked him if we were finally going to beat the Griz this time and he gave me a dead-serious stare and said "Absolutely. There's not a doubt in my mind - that streak ends tomorrow." Ya, I know - what else is he going to say but he was definitely convincing... and as it turns out - prophetic! :D

Great time to be a BOBCAT!

Who can forget that day.
I remember sitting in the south endzone, and you could just tell as the teams were running in to the stadium that the Cats were going to win.

Sitting there in the snow and cold...we all knew it ....because Hellgate was freezing over

I remember before that game that the Grizzlies kept getting worse and the Cats kept getting better. Two weeks before Cat-Griz, the Griz struggled against greased-up Sac. St. (31-24) and then lost at Eastern the next week. The Cats had 2 amazing come-from-behind victories in those 2 same weeks against Eastern Washington (Cordiero's fumble recovery for a TD) and Portland St. (down 20-3 at half, came back to beat PSU for first time since 1996) to set up the unlikely tiebreaker. That week I made a Cat-Griz prediction that I still remember very well: Cats break streak and win by 3. I thought 27-24, but hey, 10-7 was good enough. I remember Dean's call as Junior caught the Lulay pass and it was one of his best. And then he declared Bobcat Nation (before this board) in a state of celebration. Your post brought back some great memories. It was the first time I saw the Cats beat the Griz (I was 2 months old in 1985 when it had last happened) and now, 3 out of 4, baby!

GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan! :) =D^ \:D/

I just got goosebumps remembering the flanker screen to Junior. Whoooooooo........! It was so fitting that Dean announced he would leave bobcat radio after that game too.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

That Lulay to Adams pass is still one of the best I've seen, especially considering the conditions the game was played in. Its good to have the games competitive, adds to the rivalry in my opinion.
