I've got to go with Gathing on this. He was a mad man on special teams, although Chase Gazero (sp?) had the tackle of the year coming from behind on the big return the Griz had. he he doesn't make that play who knows what happens.

Hopefully it's a sign of things to come like Mollahan's special teams tackle in 2002 Cat/Griz.

I went with Gathing as well. He was just a monster on punt coverage.

I support the Gathing bandwagon, I like guys that do a great job and are team guys. Hastings was a big surprise however.

I am surprised that Elliott or Daly are not even voting options. They are both mad men on coverage as well.

I have to go with Lulay and his punting/ passing from the punt position. He not only had a great average, but his 72 yarder pinned on the 5 was unbelievable. The other teams never could get a good punt return going because of his style. Not only that, THE FRIZ tried to copy it, and now also Carroll. Imitation is the greatest compliment of all.

Lulay's punting was #1. IMO

I'm going to go with Jeff Hastings. He provided a steady foot and make a good number of field goals, which is big as far as scoring goes. Yet again, all of these guys are deserving. Hastings gets the nod because he provided good kicks.

No-brainer for Hastings. The first year since Krames got here that placekicker was a team strength.
