Coach Hauck grows up??

Post by SteelheadBum » Sun Nov 20, 2005 9:40 am

Judging by Coach Hauck's actions (seeking out Travis & other Cats at games end) and him giving credit where credit is due comments to the media, I believe he is starting to mature as a man and coach. Is he still the Darth Vader of Montana sports?? Stay tuned........

Anyway, hats off to the Cats & Griz one & all for a great game.

He said nice things about the Bobcats today in the Chronicle. But after that game, he should tip his hat to Lulay and the Bobcats.

GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan! :) =D^ \:D/

I saw Krames and Hauck share hand shakes and hugs post game. Hauck actually walked away with a smile.

Montana State IS what "they" think Montana is.

Credit to Hauck - his post-game comments have been pretty classy, and are a huge improvement from two years ago. I still wish he would call all the players by their names instead of saying "that guy," or something similar, but that is more a matter of fine-tuning.

Hauck should be gracious. He has no reason to be anything but gracious.

He now has a losing record against the Bobcats, his offense is a shell of what Grizzly fans have come to expect, and at best they will get two home playoff games.

That said, I will be pulling for the Griz to represent the great state of Montana and the Big Sky conference well in the playoffs.

Just when I'm running out of reasons to dislike the guy, I heard yesterday that he is possibly going to San Diego State.

That was floating around on egriz. I'd put no stock in it just yet.

Why should Bobby be mad? He is going to the playoffs next week. He should not be down at all- he has more football to play!

I find it quite funny that we have to start a thread about a coach who is finally starting to act like the rest of civilization. I wonder if there was a holiday named after him when he became potty-trained.
