sometimes those stupid gambles work out...be careful what you wish for[/quote]
Since Hauck became coach, he has make some stupid play calls in Cat-Griz games. I haven't seen many in other games. He seems to over coach the big game imho.
first play from scrimmage will be a 73 yard TD pass to Miller from Lulay.
my playoff analysis and projections

In '97 the Griz lost to Wyoming, EWU, and NAU in the regular season. They lost to the McCowboys in Lake Charles in the opening round of the playoffs. Back then 3 losses put the griz on the road.bozbobcat wrote:If I remember correctly, which I might not, the Griz got a playoff berth in 1997 with a 7-4 record. But enough about the Griz. The Cats seem to have a shot if they beat the Griz. So let's make it happen.
The worst the griz have finished out the regular season since 1993 is 8-3. The Griz have never gotten into the playoffs with more than 3 regular season losses.

The Griz offense stinks this year.--very sporadic. A few bright spots but overall not great. We showed against EWU that we can't defend the wide receiver screen so I expect to see this a lot this weekend. The game hinges on the Cat's D forcing a lot of punts or turnovers. The Cat's Offense will take care of business this weekend. The Griz defense is very good. They are vulnerable on a spread field so it will be key for the Bobcats to have a wide play selection and a few long plays early. Griz have been scoring a lot of points this year off of turnovers and short fields. If we minimize our turnovers (ideally zero), we will win this game by quite a bit.
