Sports talk show to debut on radio

Dave Tester, a former sports anchor in Missoula and a longtime college football commentator, and Dean Alexander, longtime voice of the Bobcats, will debut a sports talk radio show locally Friday.

The "Montana Sports Hour" is set to run 4-5 p.m. on KGHL 790 AM, with the theme of "Local, regional and national sports talk with an attitude."

Tester, now the director of sales for New Northwest Broadcasting, did television coverage of the Montana Grizzlies from 1987-93, and covered the Boise State Broncos from 1993-2000. He currently does freelance radio work for Fox Northwest and ESPN Radio.

Alexander covered Bobcat football and basketball for 30 years, and is going to help with TV coverage for Omega's Bobcat telecasts this season.
