I can't bring myself to even discuss the (lack of) defense or special teams, so I thought I would bring up one more positive. After an absolutely terrible game last week, my kudos go to Ricky Gatewood for his performance last night. Nineteen receptions!!! Way to bounce back big time Ricky. You demonstrated that you are a true competitor.

We have some real playmakers on offense. But I see no one making big plays at all on defense. I hate being pessimistic, but I see another 6-5 or at best 7-4 season and no playoffs again without some sort of miracle with our defense.

Is it our players or our coaches?? EG-I also wonder if Kramer nees to be spending more time in Bozeman during the season??

I too thought ricky played a great game and he probably is pretty bruised today. Groves did an excellent job of running and keeping those legs churning after the first hit!

Hard to say if Kramer needs to be in town more but I would say he is just fine. His biggest mistake came the day he day he came up with the idea that the 3-4 would help us.

All I want is for us to make the playoffs this year. If it doesn't get done this year it may be awhile.
