Lighting of the M

Post by SACCAT » Fri Sep 30, 2005 8:35 am

Again the Chronicle let me down. They said the Lighting was thursday night, so my wife and I drove up to a friends house on story hill and watched, and watched, and watched. We then called the paper and they said " I don't know, I think it is friday night." I asked them why they put thursday in the paper and there responce was. " You will have to talk to someone in sports." The guy I was talking to answered the phone CHRONICLE SPORTS!!!!!

Aside from the fact that you wasted some of your evening (I hope you at least got to enjoy a few drinks and good company), that whole thing just makes me laugh hard.

Come on Chronicle!

My wife and I were going to drive by on our way home but figured that our local paper was wrong about that date as well. Are they going to be lit friday as well?

No the GO CATS lights are Thursday only. It might also not be a Chronicle Problem...The homecoming committee this year is very scattered and trying to do everything at the last minute. There is a ton of school spirit but nothing tying it together. I'll post ya'll if we are doing F U GRIZ lights in November.

Hey, if anyone could get Tammie to approve that one, I'd say it'd be you T-dawg. Let us know!
