I would just like to say how impressed I was to get that many people at Holligans to come watch the game. I bet we had about 30-35 fans in there which was great to see! We will definately have to get another group together for one of the next away games. Quast and I were thinking about maybe seeing if the Billings Hotel Convention center would host one for us over there so we will be researching that for the next one.
Anyway, great turnout! Its too bad the game couldn't have been a little better/gone the other way.

The Billings Hotel hosts the QBC meeting every Monday, so I would bet that they would be willing to let us take over and spend some heavy dough on Saturdays. It doesn't hurt that the owner is a big booster and former player, either.CARDIAC_CATS wrote:I would just like to say how impressed I was to get that many people at Holligans to come watch the game. A friend of mine and I went there for the Cat/Griz game last year... We were the only people in the whole bar.
On a side note, is it just me or are those projection big screens never completely in focus?

Great to hear that so many showed up to watch the game!
Just a note for any planning that may be going on for the next away game, remember that it is going to be on Altitude, not the Montana Sports Networks. So make sure wherever you plan for has Dish or DirecTV with the sports package as I don't think that Altitude is on the Billings cable system yet.

Yeah, that screen at Hooligans (coupled with the poor lighting from Cal Poly field) really made for a blurry/weak picture I thought. I have watched other games on there that are in HD on that big screen so I'm assuming the quality is so good that if it's not HD it will be blurry etc. HD broadcasts on there are really good. Does anyone know the owner at the Billings Convention Center by chance? If so, we should plan one out there maybe if they can bring in a TV etc. They only have that one small TV by the bar etc. that I know of?GavinDonos wrote:The Billings Hotel hosts the QBC meeting every Monday, so I would bet that they would be willing to let us take over and spend some heavy dough on Saturdays. They have a pull down movie screen by the stage area with a projector similar to the one used at Hooligans. Same problem as above, tho. We should talk the Hotel into buying a 76" plasma HD for the games.CARDIAC_CATS wrote:Yeah, that screen at Hooligans (coupled with the poor lighting from Cal Poly field) really made for a blurry/weak picture I thought.
