PrePlanning for EWU
I've always been able to walk up in Cheney and buy tickets for the Cat game (as many as I need). Has anyone been there since they expanded the seating? Could this game be sold out ahead of time? What happened last year when they played the griz? Did you griz have trouble getting tickets at the gate?
Heard the other day Spokane is tearing down Joe Albi Stadium. Story is the City or County does not want to be in the stadium maintenance business. No college is using it anymore and it's basically a friday night highschool stadium. Housing project moving in.

I say EWU move into then, it's way ahead of their current stadium.

With as many fans as you guys will bring it will indeed be a sellout. Not to mention that this game may dictate who the BSC Champs will be so interest level should be heightened. EWU is currently working on the visitor seating improvement(enlarging) and for the UM game they brought in extra bleacher seating on both sides and in the west end-zone (which sucked as you can't see the scoreboard from there). You guys will be impressed with all the new additions that are taking place even though it still is behind the venue at Bobcat Stadium...Look for 11,000+ in attendance.

Sounds like they are completing some really nice improvements there. I'm excited for this game as I am going to be in the Spokane area that entire week for work so I will be able to just swing right over to Cheney and watch the Cats in action. For cat fans out there, have you already bought tickets and are there any plans for a tailgate or anthing planned yet? If I'm going to watch the game, I'd like to see it swimming in a sea of blue and gold.Obzerver wrote:With as many fans as you guys will bring it will indeed be a sellout. Tickets will be sold through ticketswest.com. Here is the link to get to the MSU vs EWU game. It says on the website that tickets don't go onsale until the 22 of August at 10:00 AM PST. Tickets will be either 12, 14, or 16 bucks a piece for adults. It looks like we'll all have to wait until then.Helcat72 wrote:I haven't bought tickets yet, but I did make reservations in Spokane. If anyone has any information on when and where to secure tickets...let us know!

This was discussed a week or so ago. Apparently the ticketswest.com tickets are only for GA tickets. I don't know how strict they will be on where Cat fans go to sit. Bearbac said that for the game against UM last year, the visitor section was underneath the scoreboard and didn't allow for a great view. I'm going to this game so I would love to get some info on what people on planning on doing.94VegasCat wrote:Where are all the Bobcats going to sit??Helcat72 wrote:thanks coachouert!coachouert wrote:Tickets will be sold through ticketswest.com.
