Congrats to Dissly. That was a hell of a game he played Saturday night, even without considering the outside circumstances he was playing through.

Dissly, a 6-foot-4 senior forward from Bozeman, Mont., played an inspired game in a 60-53 loss to Utah Valley State on Saturday night. Less than 24 hours after learning of the death of former teammate Al Beye, Dissly scored a career-high 29 points with six rebounds. Dissly made 10-of-16 shots from the floor, and 5 of 9 from 3-point range. Dissly scored 19 of Montana State’s 25 first-half points. Dissly was teammates with Beye for three seasons. Beye, the 2005-06 Big Sky Co-Defensive Player of the Year, died in a car accident near Dillon, Mont., on Friday night. Dissly honored Beye during the game by wearing a band on his left wrist reading “55 R.I.P.’’

congrats to a good player. he has been lights out the last 2 games, especially against Utah Valley in the first half. hell of a way to respond to Beye's death.
Hopefully Big al's spirit is smiling down upon the cats
