Cat Grad wrote:What is obvious is they're both good fits for their respective institutions. The Huge Human has an engineering degree and meshes well with all things Blue and Gold, including the type of attitude we convey, e.g., fight for every damn thing you accomplish and continue to grow intellectually and wholistically throughout your life. Surround yourself with good people and if they really can't grasp life's lessons, cut them loose. They'll still be better people for it in the long road for what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Hauck is a good representative of his institution by virtue of the obvious nepotism and reliance on family ties and connections and if your arse gets in a bind, have daddy bail you out. Nothing wrong with that, just stating the obvious. Read efizzle for come of the old threads stating the obvious resentment for the favoritism, then realize that's the major difference in the two institutions.

Oh yeah, notice we don't do a real good job of grooming those Cats who were part of the program athletically for any form of leadership anymore. Not saying that's right or wrong, just the way it is.
Think I could borrow your soap box?

CAT IN NC:

Touchee! However I still think that a true blue hard nosed athlete doesn't worry about what kind of women that there are at a particular college until he gets there. He is focused on his athletic priorities.

Great comment though.

=D^

To repeat what others have said, requires education; to challenge it, requires brains.
