2 plays...

...defined this game. Much more later (since we now have to wait another 9+ months for Bobcat football) but I thought the whole complexion of the game hinged on 2 plays:

1) The blocked punt in the first quarter that set App. St. up around the 12 yard line. A few plays later and Appy's up 14-0, momentum is clearly on their side, confidence is high, and the crowd is rocking...

2) The end-around pass by Jefferson. We're only down 7, just coming off the big screen pass to Mason, just starting the most important quarter of the season. The interception and return really swung momentum back to Appy.

Obviously, there were lots of other key plays/series in this game but I truly thought the game swung to Appy BIG TIME on these 2 plays.

Kudos to ALL the Cats, however, for never giving up in this game. The 14-0 start would have buried a lot of teams but there were our Cats, within 1 score starting the 4th quarter.

Another fun ride, Cats; frustrating at times but I sure do respect & appreciate the resiliency you showed this season. This was another positive step for our program; we are on the verge of becoming a perennial national contender and the 06 Cats can hold their heads high for taking us a step closer to the ultimate goal...

Grizzlies: 2-5 when it matters most
