Knowing what we know now, who got the better transfer, MSU or UM. Seriously no smack.

Out with Fall, in with football.

I think we did just because we get one more year out of Jack. Swogger was able to step in and fill the hole for the Griz big time, where we could have done well with Cory(except for the injury) this year, BUT next year we will have Jack as the starter for a full year which I think makes it a better deal for us.

I actually think so far they are both really very close when you match them up head to head. I see a lot of similiarities between the two.

I don't have statistical comparisons. But, both quarterbacks have only lost one game this year. Both have shown signs of great talent. Both have struggled at times by throwing ill advised passes. Both are fierce competitors. Rolo maybe has the better mobility. Swogger may have a bigger gun, although that may be debatable.
To me, I would take Jack just because we have him for another year.
I'm sure that UM fans wouldn't give up their QB though.

So you are saying that Jack has some swagger on swogger, but swogger doesn't have jack on Jack

I've never seen a Cat qb throw like Jack did in the wind last Saturday.

I have to agree with RTB. I think as far as production and quality of play that they have been fairly equal for most of the year. Neither one has really been consistent enough to really pick one or the other. However, I think we get a better deal because we get 2 years out of Jack which in the end could turn out to be a great senior year as he continues to gather knowledge of the system and what is expected of him.

That's good--I know I couldn't have said it better myself

I'll hold off until after the playoffs. Swogs and Rolo were both hot last week. Maybe we haven't seen the real....yet. In another comparison, Chambers got going as did Wheaton and MJ last week. (MJ was by far better in the reg. season).
UM's running back transfers look good early, but have faded fast. If Hilliard isn't ready to play next year, I'd say Brooks-Fletcher gets the job. He looks good. Lane didn't play, so I guess there's not a comparison there. They brought in a couple DBs, but one quit and I don't know that the other made an impact. We brought in Henderson, Mathews and Claggett and all three have been vital. Kramer has done a great job bringing in transfers.

Rolovich must be a lot better because Swogger has 2 First Team All-Conference Offensive Linemen protecting him.
