Where to watch the game in the Flathead?

Post by KGKat » Thu Nov 30, 2006 10:09 pm

I have to be in the Flathead for a wedding on Saturday, and am wondering where I can get together with some Cats to watch the game. The wedding is in Polson, and the reception is on the west shore - somewhere. So any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hey KGKat, I was going to go to Fatt Boys here in Kalispell, they have about 20 tv's. Unfortunatly, now that the Griz game will be televised, ALL 20 tv's will probably be taken. Not sure if there is a place in lakeside that you could go watch...I'm heading over to some friends with my wife and son, if you want to come I could ask our hosts if you would like.Their kind of redneck/hillbilly  not a superfancy house or tv. Just pm me if you would like. Had the griz game not been on TV I would have said you have a good chance of catching the game at one of the local bars or applebees. But as you know Kalispell is a subdivision of Missoula...so...

The whole sub-division of Missoula thing is what had me concerned it may be a struggle to find the Cat game on - although another win or two....
And we will be at CAT/griz v.107 :D

I believe there's a Bobcat proprietor in Swan Lake, the Columbia Bar in Columbia Falls is run by Craig Finberg's family (you know, the #4 all time scorer in MSU history?) and ya'll could call the Polson group (Dan Barz--but he married a dUMb lawyer/judge so ya'll have to be careful and of course the Kalispell chapter-Ogle could help you out.)

Just check it out because most of the regular hang outs are run by immigrants to Montana who erroneously assume dUMB is the local college  I'd highly recommend the Columbia for atmosphere if nothing else. You'll actually be able to have a few with actual Bobcat hall of famers and not have to be around fairweather fans  Bill Shulte would either be there or at one of the local Legions or VFWs (and you know you won't have to be around any Fizzlies in one of these places.)
