No doubt.

It might get ugly if Appy at home are a better team than the Griz are at home.

One thing that has not been talked about is the fact that Appy's coaching staff have the experience edge when it comes to playoff football. Just reading the local papers indicates to me that Moore is saying all the right things. I'm not saying that Krames is not, but Moore is definitely not taking the Cats for granted. And, as far as the Cats are concerned, they are obviously taking the #1 team in the Nation very seriously.

Montana State IS what "they" think Montana is.

What I stand behind is the fact that App State has not played anyone better this season than the Cat team that has played the last 2 weeks. Yup, that includes NC State. BTW - App State should have beaten NC State.
Bleedin:
I agree that ASU should have beaten NC State. I know it would have been a better game if it were at the middle to end of the season. We had our chances to win that one too. It's just the one that got away.

It is entirely possible that we have not played anyone better than MSU of the last two weeks. It is also entirely possible that MSU has not seen a team like ASU in the last two years. I know that I have not & I have not missed many ASU games in the last 15 years.

WELCOME TO THE ROCK!
Yeah, we have seen a team like ASU the past, well.....for a long time anyway. This little place called the University of Montana, and this one guy by the name of Lex Hilliard, who BTW is better than whatever you RB's name is.

According to the 2006 I-AA.org Football Preview Appalachian St. was touting a QB by the name of Elder & a transfer QB from Army as well. Is Appalachian St. now on their third QB for this season?

Elder was our starter at the beggining of the year. He got hurt in the second game and Armanti came in and has been our QB ever since. Elder came back but Armanti had solidified his spot. The Army transfer is Chase Laws. There both good and have gotten many snaps this year but Armanti is our starter barring injury.

I was really impressed with Elder when he came in late last year, I figured for sure you guys were in great shape with him- guess I was unaware of the injury.

You cats are so funny, you get fired up because ASU fans are picking themselves to win, yet on kittie nation, not one kat fan has picked the cats to lose.

Kettle any blacker then that???

He had surgery on his throwing arm elbow in the offseason and now he and the coach have admitted to rushing him back too soon. It showed against NC State in the season openor. Most anywhere else Trey would be a starter in the FCS. He just needs his confidence built up and he can be on.

Another thing, Chase Laws would be starting now (more than likely) if would have stayed at Army.

Thanks for the update. Looks like things are going well for you with Edwards, but I think Elder deserves a chance somewhere if he's healthy. If we weren't in good shape next year I'd take him in a heartbeat, but we're going to have a very fun to watch trio battling for the starting job next fall (2 Sr's & a redshirt frosh who may well be the talk of the CS down the road).
