I think a lot of people will probably route for the rival as long as their team is winning. The Griz score wasn't always announced but they showed it on the big screen pretty often. I was standing next to catatac and we heard some boos. We were however close to the student section and that maybe part of the reason. I know that for me I would love to see a Cat/Griz championship so as long as the Cats win I will route for the Griz.

OK, that makes sense, I was sitting in the endzone for the last 3 quarters with my back to the scoreboard, that is why I didn't know the score was being given. I still stand by my earlier statement that I didn't hear any general crowd reaction even when it was announced.

Your friends might get me in a rush, but not before I turn your head into a canoe. You understand me, Yosef?

Go ahead, skin it! Skin that smokewagon and see what happens...

(And my personal favorites...)

Forgive me if I don't shake hands.

Well your freind is full of sh%t. I did not here any boos, I drank some though. The score was never anounced or if it was the noise was to loud to here it. It showed on the scoreboard screen once.

I have to agree with Beercat. The Griz score was never announced unless it was early in the 3rd before I got back to my seat. The people in my section were surprised when the score of the Griz game showed the griz up 7-6, but nobody booed. When the score showed on the big screen, 24-6 for UM, people in my section looked and went back to watching the Cat game. I nudged my buddy who was next to me to look at it. And all he said was I knew that wouldn't last.

GRIZNBSMN's friend blew anything he heard way out of proportion.

Yep - just like when our score was announced in WA\Griz stadium... every one of the 20,000 fans there cheered and high-fived for their new-found 2nd favorite team... our Bobcats...

I agree that things seem to be a bit more civil between Cat and Griz fans lately but let's not blow things out of proportion. I'd lay money down that AT LEAST 5,000 of the Griz fans were not happy when they heard our score...

How many of you griz fans TRULY want the Cats to succeed & beat Appy vs how many of you just don't want to face Appy in the title game should you win 2 more & get to Nooga?

It's a legit question; I realize some of you are sincere but I've known FAR too many griz fans to just accept that you all really want the Cats to do well.

Sorry for peeing on the "warm, fuzzy" party going on here, but something smells fishy & it ain't my tuna sandwich!

Personally, I DO want the Cats & Griz to meet up in the title game; if our OC actually studies some game film this time around (and we get Mason healthy), I think the end result will be different than it was a couple weeks ago.

Besides, 2 teams from Montana meeting for the title WOULD make a great story and get both our teams some more well-deserved attention.
If the Cats win, it's a win win situation for everybody in Montana (Griz and Cats)... and around the IAA (except Appy)

The way we are getting chummy with our Griz companions ...

" We must talk darlin', it appears we must redefine the nature of our association."

" I'm a good woman to ya Cats. Don't I always take care of ya? Nobody takes care of ya like me. (she seductively coos) I'm a good woman."

" Yes, it's true you are a good woman. ( as they stick another cigarette into our mouths ) . But------- then again, you may be the antichrist."

   Oh, Griz companions we do have a love hate relationship don't we.
