This whole topic makes about a much sense as Thunder Sticks do.

IMO.
You're kidding me, right? Well thought out music is definitely one of the best motivators to get a crowd in an absolute lather. I've seen professional and major college games in just about every part of the country and almost all of them had that musical trigger (A Padres home game in the top of the 9th when Hell's Bells starts playing? Awesome. Same thing goes for pretty much every NFL game I've seen. Welcome to the Jungle, Thunderstruck, Cat Scratch Fever, Enter Sandman). Not everyone has a rock to touch and a hill to run down, or a block T, etc. You make do with what you have and a great song can be a big part of that.

IMO

Stranglehold = Ted Nugent
Cochise = Audioslave (beginning is pretty legit)
Renegades of Funk = Rage Against the Machine
Seven Nation Army = White Stripes
Right Now = Van Halen
La Grange = ZZ Top

Sorry, got a little carried away.
Found one even better, Ridin' the Storm Out = REO Speedwagon.
Someone give me a number to the Gameday people. REO is the one. Everyone needs to go listen to this and you'll agree.

I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal.

I think most folks went with the bobcat sound, but if I remember correctly, one of the mods (KMAX, I think) did some editing to it and added some echoing and stuff.
Look at the third page of the thread above, that is where I posted the edited Bobcat growls. kmax can have credit for my sweet signature and pretty much everything else that get's done on this board, but I did the sounds! ;)
