MBB: Sunday's Oregon State game

Post by mslacat » Wed Nov 22, 2006 9:17 am

I do not mean to over look Western Montana, who we play tonight, but there are a few events that I am told will effect Sunday's Montana State vrs Oregon State Game. First of all MSU will be the third game in 6 day road trip. As I posted before OSU was pasted by 40 points in Hawaii to start the trip, will play Northern Colorado, this Friday and MSU on Sunday. The most significant news though is that 6-10 254lb forward Sasa Cuic has been suspended following the Hawaii game. Cuis would have been a match up nightmare for us dispite his size he is also a 3-point threat. Last year Cuic led the Pac-10 conference in three-point percentage (49.3%), averaged 4.5 rebounds in 26.2 minutes and shot 49.0% from the floor (seventh in the Pac-10) he averaged 13 points a game. He was averaging 10.6 points a game this season.

On the other side this will most likely open up more minutes for Montana native Jack McGillis

Sunday? In an earlier thread this game was reportedly on Saturday night! Poop. We were hoping to make a long Saturday of Bobcat sports out of our long drive.
