Why the game is in Bozeman and Not Greenville
The real reason the game is in Bozeman and not Greenville....
The people at Furman knew they couldn't compete with the state rivalry game this weekend which is being played 25 miles away. Almost everyone who loves football in this area would pick the Clemson-SC game over the MSU-FU game.
And this is from a MSU alum who is also a Clemson grad. If the game were in Greenville, I wouldn't be there. But I'm hoping they win this week so I can make the trip to Boone next week.

pal·a·din (pl-dn)
n.
1. A paragon of chivalry; a heroic champion.
2. A strong supporter or defender of a cause: "the paladin of plain speaking" Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr.
3. Any of the 12 peers of Charlemagne's court.
Essentially they could be called the White Knights. But, given their geography, that probably wouldn't be very good.

Thanks. In honor of the Knights (and Monte Python), I think we will hear coming from their sidelines on Saturday morning "Run away, run away"barechestcat wrote:Cat Pride wrote:What the hell is a Paladin?Paladinfan wrote:We have a long history against them.
