Why is it that posters here as well as nationally have been talking about the weakness of teams in the Big Sky Conference this year. Heck, they're even talking about the lack of good/dominant teams nationally.
I'm of the persuasion that it's not a lack of good teams but rather a lot of them.
I realize part of this is coming from OOC play. But, I still don't see our conference as THAT weak this year.
Something's been bothering me......

The BSC has the same problem nationally as the PAC 10 has. Both great conferences top to bottom but get very little respect on the other side of the Mississippi. That's why I like computer rankings because it is hard to argue with them and they generally show both conferences at the top of the heap.

If you're an outsider looking in, what has any team other than Montana, done in the post season in the last 10 years? There has been a win here and there but that's about it. Looking at this season, you guys had a nice win against CU, but they turned out to be a bust so that lost some luster. You're the second best team in the Big Sky and you lost at home to a DII team and lost to Davis big time. We barely beat Cal Poly at home and they got crushed by NDSU. Besides Montana, only two other schools in the Big Sky are even playoff eligible with 7 wins. That's why I think the Big Sky isn't getting any respect. Gotta earn it to get it.
