WBB: Binford signs Eliza Dy

RTB in another post reported that the Bozeman Chronicle announced a the signing of Eliza Dy, a freshman from Diamond Ranch High school in southern California.

There is a ton of info on Eliza on the web. She is listed at 5'-6" in most articles I found. She averaged 10 points, 4.5 assists, 2.6 steels, and 2 rebounds a game. She also shot 55% from 2 point land and 36% from 3 point land (total 48%) her assist to turnover ratio is 2:1. Her team was one of the top teams in Southern Calif with a record of 29 - 5 overall and undefeated in League games. She was first team all Division (a team mate at Diamond Ranch was the MVP)

Her high games last years was 22 points (twice), and 12 Assists.

She lead her conference in assists and was second in 3 point shots made.

Darn I could not get that picture link to work!! I really wanted to get them on the board. Great hustle picture, plus she is also the first Asian American basketball player I can remember playing for a Cat baskebtall team. I had hoped that honor would fall on another lovely young lady but Eliza got there 12 years before her!!

She's in the class of 2007, so that'd make her a senior. You must just be thinking about next year for her.
