Hey griznearbeer - that first post you linked to was one of mine, so I'll bite. If you had any intelligence and/or common sense, and had actually read the post, you would have undertood I was referring to booing the refs on what was probably the worst call any of us had ever seen. I did not say to boo the players or the coaches. In fact, the jist of the post was to point out bad fans.

Next time I would suggest coming up with an original thought of your own rather than try twisting someone else's words.
did you read my post? it is right up above. It says
Seems both teams have fans they are not proud of
. The 2nd line of your post says
However, I had the misfortune of sitting in a new section yesterday for the UNC game, and some very classless Bobcat fans almost ruined the day for me and my father
, then you call me names and call me out for using your post while saying
the jist of the post was to point out bad fans
.

So to recap, mslacat makes a post about how bad Montana fans are, I respond before too many Cat fans post how perfect they are with a post showing proof from this very board that not all cat fans are perfect and use your post where you say not all cat fans are perfect as an example, and you call me names for it.

Any chance you want to apologize now?

Not a chance, gb, because you still don't get it. The second line of your original post says, "Here are a few threads that talk Cat fans booing their players..." Again, had you actually comprehended my post, yes those Cat fans were classless in my opinion, but they were not booing their own players, coaches or team. They were giving it to the other team and the refs. The title of this thread, my friend, is "Booing your college team." So to use my post of Cat fans booing the refs and the other team just doesn't seem to fit this thread.

you're a treat, acuse me of twisting people words and using them out of context, but then quote this:
Here are a few threads that talk Cat fans booing their players...
when the actual quote was:
Here are a few threads that talk about Cat fans booing their players, cheering when a player is benched, etc. Seems both teams have fans they are not proud of.
I know you don't get this, but my post was about fans to not be proud of. I quoted the line in your post where you had fans you were not proud of, it had nothing to do with booing the refs.

That said, it isn't a big deal to me if you don't like me based on that post, it won't change my life. I have been on this and other boards for a while, I think anyone who pays attention to what I post knows I don't usually take shots at people. Did I go slightly off-topic on this one, maybe, but surely the underlying theme of this thread was Griz fans are bad, Cat fans are good, and that is what I was responding to, and it was clearly stated in my post. Sorry that your post helped me to make my case that not all Cat fans are angels. Even more sorry that seeing your quote used in a post making the point that not all cat fans are angels made you angry.

Seems I recall tacos or tortillas being thrown at the team. Is that like booing, or is that ok?

Tortillas were thrown on the field to celebrate touchdowns.
