Anyway, I think I was 2 seconds away from having a meltdown in the tailgate area if he would have caught that for the score

Simple Andre Fuller IS HORRIBLE!!!!! He had the Deep coverage on that sideline. Henderson Had the Middle and Austin the other sideline. He gets worked more than any corner in the bsc in my humble opinionCARDIAC_CATS wrote:Was anyone else saying that on the 2nd to last play where that guy got deep on that 50-60 yard pass play on us? That football was 3 inches away from us losing that game last week. How does a guy like that get behind our safeties!! Keep it all in front of you! And if he does beat you like that .. claw him down/trip him or whatever (15 yard penalty). Don't let him get behind your for the score.

When a play breaks down like that, it is very hard to stick with a WR who improvises. I re-watched the game, and Fuller had solid coverage on almost every play. The thing that impresses me most about Fuller is his ability to tackle. He rarely misses an open-field tackle, I just saw the replay on Altitude when the Weber RB went right, cut back and looked like it was going to be a big gain, but then Fuller comes flying up and takes him down instantly.STREETCAT wrote:Simple Andre Fuller IS HORRIBLE!!!!! Just watched part of the replay at lunch as well and Fuller had many good plays on the ball (2 passes defensed as well as some really good tackles as well. He is solid.CelticCat wrote:When a play breaks down like that, it is very hard to stick with a WR who improvises. I re-watched the game, and Fuller had solid coverage on almost every play. Fuller may get burned more than we would look, but is a very good CB for the Cats.
He may not have the speed and quickness to play corner, but he has good fundamentals and plays smart.
Oh believe me .. I was in endzone and it was coming right at me. 3 inches difference and that is a score. The guy was able to get his middle finger on it or so. The safety was falling down in front so if he catches that GAME OVER. Lets just say it got my CARDIAC rate uptetoncat wrote:on the post game Kramer said he was not worried when that ball went in the air. he felt we got great pressure and forced a desparation throw that the receiver was trying to get to but was going to go long. I did not see the game was only listening to it, it had attebury worried though.
