I thought that the last little bit of this article was the best. Coach Ellerson points out that the griz won't play the Mustangs in San Luis Obispo. He doesn't think that the series will last much longer with lack of desire on the part of um to go to CP SLO.

chicken sh!ts is what I think. Even though we will all hear about how much financial sense does it make for the griz to go on the road when wagriz will make XX dollars. chicken sh!ts is what I think.

I highly doubt the Griz AD's reluctant attitude towards travelling to Cal Poly has anything to do with being a chicken sh!t. It has to do with dollars and cents. I know, that's a cheap way out. But travelling to Cal Poly vs. travelling to a I-A opponent that is willing to pony up some serious dough or playing a home game is a no-brainer.

I went to the Cal-Poly game in SLO and had a pretty good time. They needed the stadium upgade they are getting (or got).

Chickensh!ts?

I guess. You always do what you can get away with. Hopefully we'll see the Griz maybe do a home and home with NDSU or Northern Iowa or something. If we can't sucker some other team to consistently come to Missoula.

Is that the same term you would use for the cats if and when they buy out of the game next year at Fargo??

We will have to buy out that game due to adding N.Col. The Griz should have taken one less game at home and honored their commitments!! Chicken ****** no, but why would calpoly want to play the griz if they will never go to cal?

UM/MSU both have six home games this season, the only difference is UM actually wins them.

At least we're playing them. Why aren't the Cats playing Cal Poly this year?

I love how Cat fans actually think they have a chance on November 18th

Aren't you buying them out to play Texas A&M?

Do you honestly believe we don't have a chance Swilly? I have no illusions of us being favored or anything but I think almost any reasonable person would say we have a decent chance. No smack here really I just want to know if you truly believe what you are saying?

Yes but we had them shedualed before n.col entered this year. We need a money game so we have to cut some one. At least were not telling them that we wont play them unless they come to bozeman

After the cat's two disastrous losses, I figured it wouldn't even be a fun game to watch. Now that they have seemingly turned their season around, however, it is shaping up to be a great one. Here's to a close, hard-fought victory by the Griz

Tell me why they DON"T have a chance Swilly. We didn't have a chance last year or in 2002 and 2003 either.

Make that 3 disastrous losses not two but I agree with your assessment (except the last sentence). That is what I am talking about - noone, even a griz fan, can reasonably say we don't stand a chance. Especially in a year where we are currently 4-0 on the road already. Come on Swilly, answer my original question.

Why wouldn't we? UM had very slim wins against Weber and ISU and the like. Darn right we have a chance and more :)

To be fair, we did hold ISU's offense to 92 total yards, our offense couldn't convert in the red zone.
