From the friend that I had go over there, he said the trip was worthless and pointless. He was suppose to stay there for the game but since it was raining out, he decided to go back to Missoula. Not saying that your son didnt have a great time or whatever, but that i jsut what I heard from my source

From what perspective? Please explain before I say something to get this removed to Smack. Would hate for that to happen, since we're talking about two highly sought-after recruits who obviously had a great experience. Why are you sticking your nose in this?Swilly3224 wrote:From the friend that I had go over there, he said the trip was worthless and pointless. What's the difference between you and a mallard with a cold? One's a sick duck. I can't remember how it ends but your mother's a whore.

smack alert...smack alert...smack alert
It funny, "worthless" and "pointless" are two words that often come to mind when I read one of Swilly's posts!

Swilly, you have been posting in the right spots pretty well lately, but you know this isn't the thread for your post. If you did have a "friend" who didn't have such a good time in Bozeman, please post that elsewhere.
#34, sorry for moving your post about the facilities. I moved it accidently with the rest of the thread.

When you can show me how you would write the SQL query to manually do the update on the database without wiping it out.rtb wrote:When do I get that power?kmax wrote:Magically fixed.rtb wrote: #34, sorry for moving your post about the facilities. I moved it accidently with the rest of the thread.

This is the Smack forum, get back on topic and stop pointing out that I couldn't code that if I had to!kmax wrote:When you can show me how you would write the SQL query to manually do the update on the database without wiping it out.rtb wrote:When do I get that power?kmax wrote:Magically fixed.rtb wrote: #34, sorry for moving your post about the facilities. Dang, that's two rebukes from the mods in one day for me. How many do I get before I'm banned?

This board is fricken joke sometimes. That is what I honestly heard from my friend, and im sorry that you Cat fans cant deal with it. How was that smack anyways, I was telling you people what my friend told me about his visit to Bobcat Stadium. He met with all the coaches and thought it was a joke. I can tell you that Dennehy was there from Butte, some Capitol kid was there, and a kid from MEAD high school in Spokane named Mike Magee....I am highly dissapointed in the Moderators of Bobcat nation at this point in time and am hoping for an apology

I personally wasn't the one that moved it, but an apology for what? You posted on a thread where a father was thanking Cat fans/students/staff for showing him and his kid a good time at the game. Nobody is doubting you knew someone that went down, but the fact that your friend didn't like it and then flaked out before actually seeing the game just because it was raining lended pretty much zero to the author's topic and only served to take the thread off topic. That's the exact type of thing that we do split out here, so if that gets your panties in a wad I will apologize and say I'm sorry you don't have a thicker skin.

Maybe I wasnt aware, but i thought the thread was about the recruting trip in general. Sorry if my facts hurt you Bobcatnation, but facts are just facts. My friend went on the same recruiting trip, met all the coaches, and didnt enjoy himself. I just thought that BN would like about such things and maybe debate the topic. Sorry if I ruined the thread with my immaturity. He lives in Missoula, so that is why he headed back in case you all were wondering. BTW, the Griz arent even first on his listkmax wrote:Swilly3224 wrote:This board is fricken joke sometimes. We
are
not
doubting
or
discouraging
your
posting
of
the
information.
However, because you chose to post it in an inappropriate place, it got people defensive and quickly took the thread off topic and to smack and thus the split ended up here. Had you posted the information in a seperate thread, I would have happily defended your right to post it against anyone who decided to talk smack about it.

Well then read the title and the posts in the thread before posting. It isn't that difficult to READ and understand if your post would fit or not. If not, then start a new topic to talk about your friend's trip. I am sure we would love to hear about that and debate it if you posted if properly and had more facts. If you are so disapointed in Bobcat Nation you don't have to post. As another moderator said, sorry about the thin skin.Swilly3224 wrote:Maybe I wasnt aware, but i thought the thread was about the recruting trip in general.

Guys, all I was saying is that I thought it was the right place to post the comment, but obviously I was wrong. I know that since it was so what of a "diss" against MSU, that you took offense to it. So you used your power and moved it to the smack thread. If it were anything else, and it was not insulting MSU, then I will make the assumption that it would of gone to the smack thread.
But whatever, you guys do a great job almost all of the time (especially with all the Griz fans that come on here), I just disagree on this certain decesion that was made

Hate to play Devil's Advocate here, but is there anywhere on the message board besides the smack forum that you would've let him post this information?
