Not much... wait, actually you did win your first game in 5 tries, and tied the Bobcats with a 1-1 record.

And the cats pissed down their leg in front of 13,000+.

Griz fans already started jumping off the Swogger bus after their win against the Jackalopes

You know, as a DI team, MSU has had 13 losses to DII schools. Ouch.

No wonder you have no difficulty finding those teams to fill your schedule.

Yes, and I love how they think everything is now rosey because they beat a terrible team...

I don't know how many of us think everything is "rosey," but as for the "terrible team" part, I'd probably give you a couple touchdowns if you wanted to take Chadron over SDSU.

I don't know where you guys get that Griz fans in general think everything is rosy. Sure, we are happy about a win, and putting a lot of points on the board. That is something new this early in the year. Last year at this time our O was horrible. There is happiness in the improvement, and the potential. But I don't think anyone is calling any game a sure thing. Griz fans are not nearly as high on our team as the cats were after the UC game, not even close.

Lawman,

I'd take Chadron straight up over SDSU. I have yet to see a bunny take down an eagle!

SDSU has fallen off the football map; I knew something was up when that annoying little rabbit fan failed to make an appearance on egriz prior to your game!

SDSU was not good, no arguements here. And word was they were supposed to be better this year. Guess not, their DB's would have a tough time playing for a DII school...no offence ment. That is just how they looked.

How can any Griz fan be puffing out his chest after beating the worst team in all of IAA football? Do you realize the significance of SDSU losing to a DIVISION III TEAM???? Wisc. Lacrosse has ZERO scholarship players. Yeah, you heard me, ZERO......compared to 63 for SDSU.

The Griz offense is still as inept as it was last season, you dudes just don't know it yet. Perhaps you have developed amnesia in one short week after getting destroyed by Iowa, while the Cats wewre beating Colorado. Please ler me remind you of your whoipping total of 10 YARDS RUSHING, in 24 attempts, for a stupendous 0.3 yards/carry!

You will be back to your old Phenicie-hating ways soon enough, when you play a real college football team. Chadron State would have beat SDSU by 30 points or more.

Get that false bravado sh*t outta here!

This post reads a LOT like the one AZ Griz just posted over on Egriz last night. If you are stealing his material, I feel bad for you. If you are actually him, which is my guess, well then I still feel bad for you.

I don't remember a lot of Griz touting his "quality" last year....oh and 16-6

Is this the same Berquist that Griz fans were ready to have expelled from school by the end of the season?

Yes, same one... be interesting to see how he performs against a decent team.

I doubt he will get another chance real soon. With the Griz having a bye this Saturday, Swogger should have plenty of time to get his non-throwing hand ready for Week 4.

Maybe that poster stole it from me, Anaconda. If somebody wrote it on your hallowed board, then it must be correct, huh? It does not take a rocket scientist to understand the significance of a IAA team being beaten by a team without a single scholarship. Do ya think? It would be like Townsend beating Helena Capital.

Why is it that Griz fans have difficulty dealing with the truth?

I'd say he did better than most 18-19 year olds would do in his situation. I mean, afterall, he got his team to the playoffs. How'd your all-world qb do in the playoffs?

Again, quality BACK UP.

(waiting for more weak-azz smack about cal-poly, which was obviously the best team, our turn this year)

(still waiting... )

comparing berquist to Lulay --- even a moron would know better..... c'mon get over it and move on.

apparently mr. Lulay served the griz faithful (and bangwagon fans like swilly) more then just three losses......
