I know we're all waiting for fall camp to start, but none more than myself.

My debt to scats will be paid off on the bet I lost (won?) and I can finally clean up my sig.

Yahooooooooooooo! :D

Sorry to disappoint.........I could've used something like 'bucko', but it just seems to fit grizidiots better.

MSU is going to lose 4 out of their last 5 this season? Ouch! I mean, the Griz game is a certain loss, but I'd hope you'd be able to at least split the other 2.

You know what I meant as well as I do. If anyone is worried about the schedule this year it's the griz. Loss to Iowa right off the bat and a tough game with SDSU and a likely loss to Poly. Toughest conf. games are on the road with the exception of the 'Cats, which brings me right back to my previous post.

Might want to hang on to that prediction until after the season starts. Yes, they beat us in the playoffs last year, but last year was our worst year in quite a while, and we still split with them...which makes us about 7-1 against CP since 1995 (give or take a game; I didn't check the record book to be sure). So like I said, we'll see, but I wouldn't talk about CP beating us like it's a foregone conclusion.

I wasn't just flaming the griz on this one.

The griz are ranked higher preseason based on a well deserved past history, but CP is coming on strong and I-AA is quickly realizing that they are a team to reckon (sp?) with even though they are relatively new kids on the block.

Realistically, in my mind, they should be ranked higher than the griz going into this season. They return a great squad and will not be intimidated by wa/griz (if the griz ever agreed to play them at their place, I would defintely put my money on CP). JMHO

I didn't take your post as a flame; I'm just not that scared of CP. It's not that I think they absolutely can't beat us; obviously they did last year, and maybe they will again. I just feel like a lot of people have pre-ordained them as the new power in western I-AA football, and I'm just not quite sold yet. They were really good last year, and maybe they will be this year, but I also think the Griz will be a lot better this year than last. Last year, we had (arguably) our worst team since the early 90s, and we still went 1-1 against the best team Cal Poly has ever fielded. Like I said, we'll see...

Appreciate the thought- I was watching the news to see if our missing foreign exchange students showed up.

As I have never lived anywhere but the Mountain time zone, I will live with it, but whenever I make my first post tomorrow I will be redeemed.

GoKats, glad to see you got to change your sig.

But please explain this statement:
Toughest conf. games are on the road
Don't the Griz get MSU, ISU and NAU at home? Yes, PSU and Eastern will be tough, but there are no gimmies in this league.

And the Griz are 10-1 all time against Cal Poly.

I did except the MSU game, but you're correct in the fact that there are no gimme games. ISU could be a very tough game- I was specifically referring to the PSU and EWU games though. It should prove to be an interesting year in the BSC.

Woo-Hoo! It's Wednesday, and the Bobcats are practicing right now. Feel free to catch a glimpse from afar fellow Cat fans... and Griz fans - feel free to catch a glimpse of the team that will thrashing you in Wash-Griz come November! 8)

Wish it were better resolution and that we could see more of the practice field!
