Former Monte in trouble with the law
Ok, I can't believe I am the first one to post this, but this is some funny stuff. Barry Anderson, the former Monte, got into trouble as Benny the Bull. I just couldn't leave this one alone. I always knew Monte had a dark side...

I read the article and actually thought it was kind of funny to start with. He did not have a permit, give me a break they were entertaining people and a cop starts chasing him in his outfit.
i guess if he had still been MONTE he could have jumped on his 4 wheeler and gotten away.

I'm also a little curious about this comment, msla -- what exactly are you saying?mslacat wrote:Shortly, I don't think the Griz will be in any possition to call out the Cat's..... I have not "called out" the Cats for anything relating to the current troubles, nor will I ever, but unless you have some inside knowledge that a group of Griz players is planning to knock off a drug dealer in the near future, I'm not sure what your point is here.

Sorry guy's I have been gone.
There is a situation that may cause problems for the Griz faithful. I heard about it last week from a Griz faithful and had it confirmed via the "football players network ". I am not going to go into the particulars on the board, because it has become sort of an unwritten policy here not to float the rumors on the board that could have a huge impact on a particular person. I think this is what the board member would prefer. I can tell you this, if the rumors are true no one should be able to keep it out of the papers after mid week.
NOW THE POINT OF MY posting. About twice a year I try to hammer this point home. These things are circular. Both MSU and UM run great programs with great kids. The problem rises with over 100 kids on each campus Shi!t will happen! I get so sick of Griz taking pleasure when an MSU athlete gets into problems, and when Cat fans take pleasure in Griz problems. It is a glass house situation. When you have been around as long as I have you start to realize that what is bad for one program is bad for both!

You know I hate the Griz just as much or more than most (if you knew me you would understand) but you are so right. This stuff makes all of us look bad. I would hate for anything to damage the athletic programs in either place.mslacat wrote:Sorry guy's I have been gone.

I really hope what you have going up there is not as bad as it sounds.
On another note, one of my players family is in Florida on vacation and it hit the front page of the papers there. If you don't know why, it is becasue John was from there (just an FYI for those who might not know). I was told they had his mug shot on the front page.
Ok, since when has the smack area become a love fest???

Sorry you had a bad experience with your son in Missoula, catmom, but I'm more than sure that if any one of those guy's that attacked your son was Swilly, I have no doubt your 12 year old would have beat him senseless.catmom wrote: No Doll, I actually know how to take care of my man.No dUMb grad could have anything on me. I just hate the Griz cuz when I took my son to a game in Missoula, they actually attacked him cuz he was wearing a bobcat jersey. He was 12!!!! They were college students. Thank heavens, I'd hate to see the great Monte's reputation tarnished.
