I couldn't agree more. I even tried to point out that there was something suspicious about that wager long before the game.


The way I see it, if you're too ignorant state the wager correctly, you shouldn't be betting. To be honest, its really no surprise that you f'd this one up so quit whining about it.

I think the classiest thing for everyone right now would be to just drop the whole issue. Claiming that you got cheated because the literal way you phrased a bet was stupid/counterproductive isn't a very strong argument to stick with.

Instead, just slap your forehead, let out a big "Doh!," and move on. It's your best option.

I have written it off. I made no attempt to make him comply with the terms of the bet as written.

I typically don't like to post on the Smack Board of this website because so many times this is what it typically comes to. Come on, this has gone way overboard. It's one thing to poke fun at someone or their team, but this is a verbal, personal attack at another individual. Regardless of the bet made or who thinks they are in the right, grow up. Go Scats Go, you should just be happy and thankful to have had a Griz team that performed so well on the court this year. To drag this issue any further is just rubbing it in our faces. Yeah, we sucked this year - we admit it! But we are moving forward, looking for a new coach, and hopeful for our prospects next year. You need to move on as well. Nuff said!
