AHHHH come on now. I think the Lady Cats showed a LOT of heart last night. They could have given in at least a dozen times, but they circled the wagons and kept on fighting. I love seeing that from athletes. I tip my hat to those girls and wish them the best. With Potera-Haskins gone I don't have a problem cheering for the Lady Cats anymore. (I STRONGLY disliked that lady, she rode McCarthy's coat tails to success).

Todays game should be a good one, if the Griz win I say it is by five or less, and if the Cats win I think it will probably be a spanking from home court momentum (talen for the win, but I think it will be home court that gives you the spanking) Can't wait to watch this bad boy at three!

The Lady Cats showed a lot of heart and fought the entire way. And I have to agree with everything you said about Robin Potera-Haskins. I think when she was hired she was just a token candidate. McCarthy was a shoe-in, well until he stepped on his ding-dong. She rode McCarthy's coattails to get 2 very good seasons, but player turnover was terrible in her tenure. I'm glad she's gone, and if Winthrop comes here (she's an assistant there), I plan to boo her. Big time.

And the Griz are going down today.

Good post. If the cats could have made a few more shots in the first half, they would have been right in that game... I don't think I have ever seen a more pitiful offensive performance in the first half of any college game. They just could not get anything to fall. I bet they were less than 20% from the floor in that first half. To their credit, they came back and got within ten, at 43-53, but then the Griz hit a quck three and a breakaway layup that sealed the win.
