Griz only scored 31?

Post by longhorn_22 » Tue Nov 15, 2005 1:07 am

I thought it was interesting how when MSU scores 37 on Sac St. the friz are all over us talking about how we should have scored a lot more. Then they go ahead and score 31. A win is a win right? Wrong. This is only true when it is the friz on the winning end even though the Cats are as well.

You should have scored more points on Sac State because you've got one of, if not the best QBs in the BSC, and some very capable receivers.

We should have scored more points on Sac State too, but we didn't, and we don't have a QB that has the ability that Lulay has, just yet, to pull another one out.

IMO, a win is a win.

You string enough wins together, and you'll see what it does for your program, and fan base.

It's amazing how far it'll take you.

Longhorn no mention that the Griz scored 20 on EWU and the cats only score 14 what is your point?

I can't speak for others - the only point that I made had to do with the fact that lighting up Sac St for yards on the ground was nothing to brag about. We did it too, and believe me I am not bragging about it (or any other offensive performance) of the Griz this year except maybe the Idaho State game.

Fortunately, our D is NAILS and is good enough to win the Brawl for us. Not to mention we will win the special teams battle as well.

old fellas...old! the "points" argument has to be the dumbest in sports. anyone could use this theory and turn their favovorite squad into a national champion. in 1-a!!! let's see...we beat this team by 10, and tcu only beat them by 8. ah ha, we are better. and tcu beat a big 12 team by 7 when another team only by three. yes, we are better than most in the big 12. and that team beat texas! we are as good as texas! oh my god, guys...do you realize that if texas can reach the nc, and beats usc, that we can actually claim to be the best in the country? and here i thought that we didn't play to our potential this year. you know...missing the playoffs and all. boy was i wrong. how about WINS ARE WINS. as for the original post, pretty sure the cats and the griz beat sac. and pretty sure the cats and griz lost to ewu. who cares? 1-1 each in these games. LETS GET REAL PEOPLE!

Are you forgetting something? Did you not share the title of Big Sky Champs with another team?

HB after all your talk early in the week. You're the last one I thought would bring up Eastern from last year. Either you're a co person or you're not.
