if the cats win and we belittle the opponent we are cocky a-holes. i.e. griz fans. if the cats win and we compliment the other teams strengths and hard play, we are trying to build ourselves up after beating a horrible team. if the cats lose and we belittle the opponent we are poor-losing, cocky a-holes. i.e. griz fans. and if the cats lose and we compliment the other teams strengths and hard play, we are trying to build ourselves up after losing to a team that we should have beat. man, you guys can really spin this. i'm off to play with my 3 year old...at least he makes sense. go cats.

Yeah, bitching about the refs is
nothing near as fashionable and "correct" as whining about losing a game because of the turf or the weather.
Go change somebody's oil, grease monkey.

So when cat fans said SDSU and Weber sucked, what was that all about. Not only were cat fans poor at noticing what a good team looks like, they were dissing those teams.
As far as the turf, all of I-AA was bitching about it, it was an embarassment, and did effect the game. Possibly it effected the game to benifit JMU, possibly it helped UM.

Not saying the field wasn't poor - it was. But both teams had to play on it. Personally, I don't think it affected the outcome of the game. James Madison was the superior team, physically and mentally.
How is bitching about the how the refs affect the game (which I think we all agree that the Big Sky refs are terrible) somehow different than whining about how the turf affected the NC game last year or how the weather affected the Cat-griz games in 2002 and 2003?

We didnt say NDSU (we didn't play SDSU this year

) sucked. Hell, they were ranked when we beat them, and they brought everything they had in that game.
I never said Weber sucked, and I bet 90% of cat fans felt the same way, after seeing what they almost did to the Griz in WA-Griz. They earned a lot of respect from me. They are for real. Look for them to be a contender next year.
Pizarro is a junior, and they have a stable of young running backs. They lose both their OT's (Pat & Paul McQuistan), and WR Lynzell Jackson to graduation, but return the rest of their starters on O. Their D will be hit hard by graduation though (8 players, 4 secondary players, Fosmark).

You use the term WE liberally, maybe you didn't say SDSU sucked.
And Weber & SDSU are STILL mediocre. - El Gato
But Weber is a REALLY good team... Just like SDSU! - Sarcasm from mquast.
Believe me, there was more, but I figure, point made.

A little? A LOT! But he's gone next year, as are most of their quality players, and as far as I've seen, there's not much depth. Sad, really.

Mother Hubbard (kRames) has no cupboard!
kRames is forced by the kitten faithfull to keep :
A "win it now" attitude : That's what going the JC route does to a team.
Next year most of the kitty players won't even know each others names until the 3rd or 4th game - heck of a way to build a cohesive unit!

Damn you get old! Maybe you'll grow out of it when you reach your teens.

You know, if you had the slightest amount of how pathetic you are, you might be taken as funny.
Your short bus is calling you to take your juvenile antics elsewhere. WHY WEREN'T YOU HERE POSTING WHEN THE GRIZ LOST TO EWU? HOW ABOUT YOU SCATS? MA-ZOO-LA JIZZ?
I look forward to seeing proof of how advantageous Dennis Washignton stadium is when you guys hit the road.

Ya! And most Griz fan's hair will be almost grown back in from earlier in the season just in time to lose it when we beat your asses in just three weeks.
