Re-name the Smack Board?

Post by mquast53000 » Wed Oct 12, 2005 2:31 pm

It has become apparent to me that the smack board has become a place for Griz fans to air out their differences about egriz.com.

For this reason I was thinking that we should look into renaming this forum to "Egriz II - home of bitchers and complainers."

What do you all think?

One instigator, many defenders, as far as I can tell.

Yup, but they are all Griz fans and they are having it out here.

So should the Cat fans over on egriz who argue with "HIPHIPLULAY" be branded as troublemakers over there as well?

GL you are not comparing apples and apples... There are three threads in the Smack Forum with ONLY griz fans arguing about Bobby, egriz and any number of other topics (I stopped reading them) currently on BN. Now on egriz the "HIPHIPLULAY" thread has both Griz and Cat fans partaking. You can not compare those two threads because they are not the same.
I for one am sick of Griz posters taking over threads and now forums to air out their differences with each other. That is the point I was trying to make with this thread.

HIPHIP is about the Cat equivalent of bearBac. Although almost none of us like bear, he has every right to post as long as he keeps it on the smack forum.

HIPHIP only comes out when the cats do something good or the Griz something bad. He ain't been around in a while.

Jah, you don't have to spell it out, we understood what Celtic meant when he said HIPHIP is the Cat equivalent of BearBAC.

The egriz moderators will likely never confirm this, but I have no doubt that HIPHIP is a griz fan masquerading as a Bobcat fan, just to stir things up and/or look like an idiot for the griz fans.

As a matter of fact, based on HIP's "style", it wouldn't surprise me AT ALL to find out that he/she/it IS bearbac/bearaxed/gurnsey...

How's THAT for a conspiracy theory...?

Ok that's fair; I shouldn't have made that comparison.

I guess with regard to Wolfy, it just frustrates me to see other Griz posters get painted by Cat fans with the same brush that he gets. He comes here and posts his opinions, which he's entitled to do, but the fact is that a lot of us disagree with a lot of what he says. Anytime we respond to him, though, it always turns personal somehow, and Cat fans immediately start rolling their eyes and saying "great; another thread rehashing the old egriz p!ssing matches."

Personally, I'm fine with just not responding to him most of the time, but I do understand the sentiments of those who can't help themselves, and it is frustrating to see posters who don't exactly have a track record of causing a lot of problems here get branded the same as Wolfy does.

All of you, on both sides, Cat fans and Griz fans, are being hypocritical. Every one of you knows that these boarsds would be boring as hell, with declining readership, if they stuck to the syrupy formulas that some suggest.

By its very definition, a SMACK FORUM is designed to elicit the very kinds of exchanges which some of your are whining about. If you want saccahrin, may I suggest a more appropriate web site? You might wish to try www.needlepointforfun.com, or www.chineesepaperfoldingfordummies.com

Grow a pair, and, if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
