I can't believe what the griz are saying
I just got off the phone with a griz fan that I do some buisiness with. this guy is my source when I want to find out what is going on in griz town, and has always proven to be very reliable and a pretty level headed guy to talk cat/griz stuff with. Every Monday we chat and I have to hear about the all wonderful all powerful griz, and their all knowing all seeing, best recruiter since Uncle Sam coach Bobby.
So this week I asked how it went and leaned back into my chair for the 15 minute lecture on why the griz are so great, when what did my wondering ears hear but we need to fire Bobby, and he means right now.
This is a direct quote "if we let him finish out the season we will be a mess for al least 3 more years".
I was laughing so hard I had to put my phone on mute so he couldn't hear me. According to him he has the offense so screwed up it would take Vince Lombardi to get it repaired.
I just found it funny, alittle adversity goes their way and the sky is falling. I told him I was going to have to spread this around a little bit, he said he didn't care maybe it would help get rid of Bobby.
It sounds like the lug nut are pretty loose and they are driving about 90mph right now.

While I wouldn't neccessarily call your post smack, I can almost guarantee what follows will be so I will just leave it here.

I don't know; what happened last year after we got taken to the woodshed by Sam Houston State?AnchorCat wrote:When the going gets tough... What a bunch of limp wristed Griz fans. What's going to happen when they get taken to the wood shed (real soon)?
The thing that's funny about this thread is that Cat fans are criticizing Griz fans for not liking Hauck. Granted, there are some spoiled Griz fans out there who are too quick to criticize the coaching staff. Cat fans have been arguing that Hauck is going to run UM's program into the ground ever since he was hired; I don't know if that's true or not, but it is hilarious to hear Cat fans talk about Griz fans like we're a bunch of whiners when those who criticize Hauck are merely saying the same things Cat fans have been saying all along.

BozGriz said it better but I'll try
Don't you guys remember
After the NAU win and the Griz PSU lose last year.
After the Oregon lose this year and the SFA slaughter.
now off on the road of Karmic smack go the cats. With all the crap you guys are talking this week I'm almost sure the Griz beat ISU and the cats lose to WSU just to put you back in your place again.
That is cool AnchorCat you should get that guy to become Champ.

That is what makes it so shocking, this guy is mister raw raw, he could put a positve spin anything. It was just like he had a huge burden on his chest and had to get it off and I happened to call at that time. He will still be one of the biggest supporters $$$$ that they have, and i am sure always will be.

Grizlaw, "spoiled fans too quick to criticize Hauck"??? What do you want us to do, wait until he totally destroys our program before we criticize him?
I have been telling the WORLD for 3 years that Hauck is a poor coach. It has been obvious to any objective fan who knows football. And now, the rest of the Griz Nation are discovering that I have been correct the whole time.
I'm just afraid that we may be too late to save the Griz from a minimum of a two-year downturn. Who will be our QB next year? Washington just can not play at this level, Cole may not be able to either. So, we go with a freshman like Stapp again next year? There is no way that he'll be ready to start for the Griz next year.
So, if i'm a "spoiled fan" in your mind, so be it. I think i'm a hell of a lot more caring fan than you are, because you are sitting there allowing Bobby Hauck and his relatives destroy a proud program.

Hey Wolfman can you lay off the crack pipe for 10 seconds and answer this ? for me: If Hauck is such a horrible coach & is running the program into the ground how do you explain, the playoffs his 1st year, last years National title game, 2 Big Sky titles (shared) & our 3-1 start. Surely your wise, sourpuss brain can come up with a negative answer for us. I eagerly await your bitter response.Wolfman wrote:Grizlaw, "spoiled fans too quick to criticize Hauck"??? anacondagriz, how bout you lay off the personal attacks for 10 seconds and just ask the question. The rest of that crap is not necessary.anacondagriz wrote:Hey Wolfman can you lay off the crack pipe for 10 seconds and answer this ? for me: If Hauck is such a horrible coach & is running the program into the ground how do you explain, the playoffs his 1st year, last years National title game, 2 Big Sky titles (shared) & our 3-1 start. And for the record I can probably guess his answer and sum it up with a parallel situation--Barry Switzer coaching the Dallas Cowboys.

A dropped TD by a WSU reciever (from what I gathered) at the end of the game last Saturday, and the big sky officiating is the difference between a 3-1 and a 1-3 record. The Griz are skating on thin ice, and I for one will be interested to see how Grizland reacts when it breaks...El_Gato wrote:OH, BTW, the Big Sky Refs hand the Griz a 7-0 win. Both griz announcers and several hardcore griz fans on egriz said that the Griz should've been flagged for Pass Interference on 4th and goal.
Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Wolf, posts like this are the reason why someone jumps down your throat every time you open your mouth. I did not attack you; I was responding to Cat fans who were criticizing Griz fans for saying the same things that they (and you) have been saying all along, and suddenly I'm not a "caring fan?" Please...get over yourself, and tell us again about how poor and misunderstood you are.Wolfman wrote:Grizlaw, "spoiled fans too quick to criticize Hauck"??? For the record, I am not a supporter of Hauck either, but I acknowledge that there are Griz fans out there who will call for any coach's head at the first sign of adversity. (Think of our loss to Hofstra in Joe Glenn's debut a few years back.) That's what I was saying; how you managed to take it personally, I have no idea.

The same way it takes a few years to build up a new program, like Kramer has done, it takes a while for a coach to destroy a great program, like Hauck is doing. It looks as if the great team and players that Joe Glenn had assembled is falling to peices and what you have left is Hauck and a mediocre teamIf Hauck is such a horrible coach & is running the program into the ground how do you explain, the playoffs his 1st year, last years National title game, 2 Big Sky titles (shared) & our 3-1 start.
