Griz Tickets at Conoco!

Post by UpwithMt » Fri Sep 09, 2005 10:30 am

Made a trip to Billings and noticed that two of their Conoco gas stations were offering drawings for Griz tickets. Was wondering if this was the case in Bozeman?

As our friend EL GATO can tell you, most Conoco stores have nothing to do with Conoco other than that is who they buy their gas from. Most are locally owned so it would probably be just in those stores.

Conoco is one of the new corporate sponsors for the Griz!

That's probably because Conoco hires a good deal of dUMb grads to work the register.

I kind of doubt that Conoco's corporate sponsorship is a zero sum game within the state. If they are sponsoring UM, it might be a signal that MSU could sign them up as well.

Now not be be whiny or anything, but can we now stop highlighting UM's corporate sponsors for awhile and maybe even heap some praise/patronage on MSU's corporate sponsors?

'Cause I gotta tell ya, one thing that I'm looking forward to when I get back into Bozeman for Homecoming is to sink my teeth into some Wheat Montana Bakery bread before I call Bozeman Ford on somebody's Cellular One phone.

That was funny, I almost spit my PEPSI on the BEEF I'm eating for lunch.

So I'm not supposed to eat at McDonalds, or gas up at Conoco.

I know this some evil plot by my wife to make me lose weight, by dropping fast food and walking everywhere.
