Stupid Grizzlies

Post by wbtfg » Mon Nov 29, 2004 3:56 pm

This is a letter to the editor in today's Helena IR. Boy, some people really need to get a clue, and realize that life doesn't revolve around the friz football team. What a joke!!!!
A different game

The "Comedy of Errors" story on the Bobcat-Grizzly game was a story on a different game than the one I watched on TV. Perhaps it was just a "sour grapes" version of the game by a pro-Bobcat sports writer.

In the game I watched the Grizzlies outmanned the Bobcats at every position, except wide receiver. Gatewood of the Bobcats was the premier wide receiver. He will probably be playing at the next level some day.

The Bobcats fought hard, as they always do, but the fact of the matter is, simply: The Grizzlies were the better team. The story in the IR should have reflected that fact.

What’s wrong with someone writing a letter to editor to correct something that was incorrect? If the cats had soundly beat the GRIZ and that same writer wrote a very pro GRIZ and anti cat article, you all would have flooded the paper with letters and emails.

I totally agree, with both. The cats didn't show up that day. Wait, I take that back. SOME of the Cats showed up that day, most did not. That's college football. There will always be inconsistencies in the players performances time and again. Its just we as Cat fans has seen more of the later. I am hoping that our coaching staff as well as those suiting up on Saturday's will take a close hard look at what our rivals to the west are doing. Believe it or not, we could learn a lot from them. No I am not turning into a griz lover, its just the truth. And let's face it, the truth hurts time and again.

In this case it could be a VERY valid argument! 20,000 fans watching a football game could scare the cr?p out of some of those cats!
