Here is my perspective as an older MSU fan. Yes the student side was a little bit out of hand. I went to the student side of the stadium during half time and it was as loud there as it was in the game. Even as an MSU fan, booster and alum I will probably not go on the east side again during half time of the next Cat-Griz at Bozeman. I am just to old for that crowd.

The west side tailgating is more my style anymore. Lots of Griz fans who jot some friendly ribbing, some funny t shirts and great Bobcat SPIRIT.

ATTENTION GRIZZLY FANS, JOIN US ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE STADIUM. YOU WILL GET SOME FRIENDLY RIBBING, AND YOU WILL ENJOY SOME GREAT BOBCAT SPIRIT.

Are you kidding me! I've heard alumni yell worse things at visiting teams and their own team/ coaches! I refused to go "into the dark" when I was a student because the alumni side was so vindictive!

It was always more fun on the student side, and from the pictures I've seen, it looks like it still is!
