I didn't realize that the moderators of this board hired you as head of the grammar police.

That is funny! The more I read these boards, the more I am amazed at how many people out there screw up so many general words or phrases. It reminds me of that commercial... "It's not the Leaning Tower of Pizza, and we don't get French benefits." It makes me wonder if there are any words or phrases out there that I've been saying wrong my whole life...

Great time to be a BOBCAT!

Yes, I definitely know of at least one that you've obviously been scrooing up.

P.S. As for phrases that everyone says "wrong," the one that really bugs the hell out of me is the debate over whether "I could care less" or "I couldn't care less" is correct. Technically, they're both fine, but I've had know-it-all grammar Nazis try to correct me for using both versions before...

Isn't that a point a cow makes, so it doesn't really matter?

Yeah, I was messing with you. I was pointing out that you misspelled "scroo up" in your previous post.

I did? Are you saying "screw up" is not an accurate term? Cause I just checked with my buddy Webster and he says it's fine...

Sorry, but your version of Webster's is wrong. "Scroo" is definitely the correct spelling for the term. I'm certain on this.

You are leaving your self wide open for a barrage of term paper corrections, you know that right? I was trying to work per se in there but didnt know how to correctly.

I was just curious to see how long it would take for people to figure out whether I'm serious about this one or not.

One thing I did figure out from your post; tax lawyers are not funny and a tad condescending.

I won't deny that I've been condescending on more than a few occasions in my life, but where was I condescending in this discussion? I don't think I've said a single thing here that was even remotely serious, so I'm curious to know what you're referring to...
