You're looking at this in entirely the wrong light, Hells. It wasn't a boring, sluggish offensive game; it was a tough, hard-nosed, edge-of-your-seat defensive struggle, capped off by a monstrous goal-line stand. ;)

Sounds Like Hells is one of those kittys, that would rather lose with kRames Klass - than watch a hard fought Win!

all i am pointing out is that your game against sdsu was just as effective as sominx for putting a person to sleep.

Yeah, the SDSU head coach really STUFFED the Jacks with that asinine trick play call on 1st & goal from the 4. Then the refs completed the "monstrous goal-line stand" with their pass interference non-call on 4th down. (Both Mick & gurnsbac said it was PI; if those 2 agree on a call AGAINST the Griz, folks in Lolo no doubt saw it; too bad Big Sky refs have been ordered to baby Bobby...)

By the way, do any of you frequent the Jack's Forum? I'm curious how the head coach's blunder is fermenting with the Vorpal Bunny faithful....?

Yep, I always knew that having an alum of my rival school as the head of the BSC would pay off someday. ;)

What about the interception return for a TD by the Griz, and then they called the QB down, when the replay shows he clearly wasn't? There's 7 points the Griz should have had.

And shock of all shock we eventually arrive to the same conclusion we have come to over and over again for the last several years: Big Sky Conference refs don't homer anybody, they suck equally in calls to both teams.

I was with a group of about 40 Griz fans watching the SDSU game. We all agreed that it was probably the most boring football game we have watched in recent memory.

Someone in another thread posted about the fact that college football, and the Washington/Griz experience, is entertainment. Don Read built the loyal fan base by putting an exciting product on the field. Did he win every game? Hell no, far from it! But you could be assured every week that the Griz offense would provide plenty of thrills, and the game would be exciting.

Bobby's teams don't provide much excitement, outside of a couple like the EWU game last year. There are way too many wins (like ISU and N. Colorado) in which people leave the stadium shaking their heads, with a blank stare. Yeah, they won alright. The game about as much fun as a needle-point convention.

If this stuff continues, the fan base will erode. Count on it. And, if the fan base erodes, Hauck will be booted. Count on it!

How did you see over them shorty? or do they let you sit at the rail?

I would be willing to bet that Wolfie was hoping they hired someone else a few years ago instead of Hauck. Then, instead of getting behind the new coach (to some extent) , he hopes that they lose so that he may feel vindicated. Meanwhile, he continue's to go from message board to message board to sermonize everyone on how much he knows and how you should join his cluster.

What kind of fan is this.....a small, bitter one.

Meat & Jag,

I'm not defending wolf nor ragging on you 2, but it is interesting that he stated an opinion without blasting either of you, yet you 2 IMMEDIATELY "pounce" on his post with personal attacks.

I realize that there is bad blood between most griz fans and wolf, but it's almost like you guys see his name and go directly to attack mode, regardless of what he's posted.

Actually, I listened to the 7-0 game last week & although it was exciting because it was close, I have NO doubt that had I been sitting in the stands, both those offenses would have made it difficult to keep down my Cheese Steak...

MQ,
I'll bet that bearcrap resembles Kip. He probably splits his time chatting with babes on-line and attempting to be clever on the Nation.
He appears to be unsuccessful at both.
