Holy crap, those fishinghurts.com people really have nothing better to do with their lives. I'd like to see some more solid background evidence to prove that. These people must think that the goldfish in the bowl is plotting to kill them. Come on.

last night the co-founder of Peta admitted that they put to sleep 87% of their "rescues" in 2005. so Peta = dead animals.

Teen's New Name: KentuckyFriedCruelty.com Fri Dec 30, 4:58 PM ET

A 19-year-old PETA staffer has legally changed his name to KentuckyFriedCruelty.com.

Chris Garnett, youth outreach coordinator for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, said he changed his name in support of the group's anti-KFC campaign.

"People don't believe me at first when I tell them my name, but it never fails to spark a discussion," Garnett, er, KentuckyFriedCruelty.com, said in a statement. "Many vow to boycott KFC after I explain the company's indifference to cruelty to animals."

Norfolk, Va.-based PETA's complaints against KFC stem from video footage shot last year recording alleged mistreatment of birds at a Pilgrim's Pride Corp. plant in Moorefield, W.Va. The plant is a KFC supplier.

Yum! Brands, the parent company of KFC, has disputed the claims of mistreatment. In June, a grand jury refused to indict former workers at the West Virginia chicken plant.

"Stacked" star Pamela Anderson, who has narrated a PETA video showing the alleged abuse, supports Garnett's name change.

"I'm sure Chris can't wait till KFC stops torturing chickens so he can change his name back," the actress said in a statement, adding that the chicken abuse "is awful and has to stop."

Anything endorsed by the airhead Pam Anderson must be a complete joke. Any shard of respect I still had for PETA is now COMPLETELY gone. What a waste of brain cells and perfectly good internal organs.

Man, PETA pisses me off. "Many cows are skinned alive." BULLSHIET! There is no way in hell this ever happens. First of all, that would be next to impossible. They have obviously never skinned an animal before (well, DUH, they're a buncha treehugging pussies). It is hard enough to skin an animal when it is dead, let alone alive..... In fact, that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. GOD I HATE STUPID PEOPLE

well for the record my hubby and his family murdered thousands of chickens on their belt farm! I know from personal experience those MT boys like their large breasts so Pam better watch out - they might come after her next

FRANKFORT, Ky. - Pamela Anderson is leading a charge to remove a bust of KFC founder Colonel Harland Sanders from the state Capitol.

The actress called the Kentucky native's likeness "a monument to cruelty" to chickens in a statement issued by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, the animal rights group.

The statement did little to ruffle feathers in Gov. Ernie Fletcher's office.

"Colonel Sanders was one of Kentucky's most distinguished citizens, a great entrepreneur and a fine charitable man of faith, and he certainly has a place in Kentucky history. We believe he warrants appropriate recognition as such," Fletcher spokeswoman Jodi Whitaker said.

Anderson has been involved in a campaign to raise awareness of conditions in processing plants that supply poultry to the Louisville-based chicken chain.

In a letter to Fletcher, Anderson detailed alleged abuses of chickens by KFC suppliers. Among her claims, she said workers in a slaughterhouse in West Virginia have been filmed tearing the heads off live birds, spitting tobacco in their eyes, spray-painting their faces and slamming them on the ground.

KFC spokeswoman Laurie Schalow called the move to oust the colonel "just another misguided publicity stunt by PETA in their attempt to create a vegan society."

When I read your GOD I HATE STUPID PEOPLE part it came out with a Cartman voice in my head (I giggled). As for the skinning alive part...wow...I mean...wow. My guess is wherever they got this little bit of information is probably the same place that (insert government dig here...any one will do). I try not to use the word hate very often, but I really do hate PETA. What a crappy organization.
