Wolf: Do you ever listen to what the moderator has to say? You keep it up and you'll only be able to post on the Sac state board.

This board is so much more more objective than esugar.com.

Having read most of your well written posts on eGriz, Wolfman, the one constant theme seems to be that your "clue", and insight about football comes from someone associated with *insert team name here* that you played golf, cards, and/or had a drink with?

I think BobcatNation is objective too...sometimes more so than eGriz, but IMO, it's only objective to you because you can still post here.

I'll tell everyone "hi" for you on esugar, if you'll tell everyone hello for me on the Sac boards.

I have said NOTHING on this smack forum to get booted. Are you kidding me? With darkmeat and BAC spewing their ridiculous rhetoric, i'm a saint on this board! I think you're just HOPING i'll get booted, so you can go back and gloat on esugar.

Yes, this board is much more objective than esugar.com. That's why you post over here, eh Matic? Most Griz fans post over here to screw with the Cat fans. I'm here to discuss football in an objective, intelligent manner, which is what i've done over here.

I'm not sucking up to Cat fans either. I predicted their loss to Cal Poly, and am predicting another loss to NDSU this weekend.

I'll have to agree with pretty much everything you've said, except a few things.

You're wrong in thinking that I hope you get booted over here, and even more wrong in thinking I'd gloat about it on eGriz if you did. Not all Griz fans are like that, and the ones that are, are very quickly figured out. Initially, I was in the group that wanted you to remain at eGriz because your posts were intelligent, and I enjoyed reading most of them. But the caustic, "I'll beat you down with my compelling rhetoric, and logic if you disagree with me" approach was used far too many times.

I post here because I happen to like the Cats, support them when they aren't playing the Griz, and give them some benign $hit on occasion ...not because this board is more objective than eGriz.

kmax wrote:Wolf, I didn't "dis you" or "give you sh!t". I simply asked for everyone involved in the little squabble that started at egriz to not use this board to continue it. Talk smack about the Cats, Griz or any other team all you want but take the personal fights elsewhere please. If you don't wish to partake in their childish attitude toward the Cats then do just as you advised in another thread and please ignore them.

As for you offering to help us keep Griz fans from ruining our board, thank you for the offer but I think we can handle it.
Maybe I'm missing something but whenever Wolfman makes a post, he doesn't initiate it by attacking any of the Cat posters or the griz posters. The attacks and slams begin when griz fans start throwing their comments back his way and the moderators (namely, it seems kmax) automatically sense that Wolf is causing the trouble. From what I've read, that's not the case.

I don't mind his posts especially being a Cat fan but when he makes something where he feels that the team he supports is going wrong or he makes a comment about Beavis, the griz fans do what they did over on egriz. They attack him, he attacks back, and then Wolf seems to get the blame for being the trouble maker.

For christsakes, if you're going to address Wolf, then you need to address other posters who are instigating s*it when he makes a comment that his fellow griz "brethren" don't agree with.

Just my 0.02

It looks like kmax DID address everyone else as well. Wolfman just happens to be the only one who is bitching about it, and appears to be trying to paint his victim complex that everybody got tired of on egriz. kmax was more than fair in his comments.

So EVERYBODY, keep the egriz rivalries off of this board, and everything will be cool. This board will not serve as a proxy for egriz banishment spats, and it is not a place to be spitefully slamming on egriz. We've made those rules, and we expect them to be followed.

HighLine wrote:Hmmm...if the Griz and Cats were doing better this thread might actually make more sense. But, SADLY, I don't see either team doing very well post-season (if they even make it).
If they were both national I-AA powers (which I think they normally are)...this thread would be fun. Since they aren't (and I wish they were)...this thread loses steam.
Care to amend that after the Cats beat the #8 and previously undefeated Bison, HighLine?
