I just want to see if the picture in my head matches real life. Im sure its not anywhere near as funny.Eastcoastgriz wrote:I went to the NY Giants game a couple of weeks ago and one fan was so drunk he could hardly walk. He was a complete ass. How is that any reflection on the Giants and their fan base? Its one idiot.MM7CAT wrote:Here is why BB represents Griz fans......He is one! If one of my co-workers drives drunk and kills someone while wearing clothing with our employers name on it, it reflects badly on everyone in the company. To make a long story short, every time I meet a Griz fan I wonder to myself, is this that idiot BearBac?
Really. Every time you meet a GRIZ you wonder if he is BearBac? I've meet many cat fans, and never wonder if he/she was one of the people who made some idiotic post either here or over on EGRIZ.To make a long story short, every time I meet a Griz fan I wonder to myself, is this that idiot BearBac?

I suppose you're entitled to see things that way if you want to, but if that's truly your view, I seriously doubt you're going to find many people or entities in this world that you approve of. Very few employers/teams/groups of any kind can claim that they have no members in their midst that ever say or do anything foolish.MM7CAT wrote:Here is why BB represents Griz fans......He is one! I work as an attorney so that I can afford good scotch, which helps me to forget that I work as an attorney.

But you can't deny that those bad apples tarnish the image of the organizations ... and most of the rest of the people in that group do suffer (in very small or even in significant ways) as a result.Grizlaw wrote:I suppose you're entitled to see things that way if you want to, but if that's truly your view, I seriously doubt you're going to find many people or entities in this world that you approve of. And when it comes to sports fans, we all know that groups of fans tend to be defined by their most obnoxious and most idiotic vocal minority.
