This is true, Bozone. However, if the owner(s) of this board want to make it a special place, with posting levels commensorate to its potential, then they will have to soften the censorship tendencies, and encourage freedom of expression. My opinion. Smack is amack. To attempt to qualify smack is ridiculous.

This board is censored very very little. Yes we will move posts onto another board if they fit better there and yes I, and other moderators, have deleted/edited a few posts that were direct attacks on other users. That's all in our rules and we have never been anything but upfront about it. Users who have run afoul of these rules always receive fair warning and requests to refrain.

In all fairness to you kmax, you are fair in administering your rules. This is all I ever asked while posting on egriz.com. However, I do not feel that the owner of that board has been consistant or fair about which threads/posts he locks or deletes, or in whom has been removed from the board.
It seems that anyone who is critical of the Griz coaches gets the boot, while other posters enjoy free reign to harrass, name -call, or worse, anyone they choose. Very selective censorship. It may be his board, but what he is ending up with is totally un-objective posts, which are all one-sided.
I am glad that you are a bit more objective.
bozone, I can not recall a time I ever flamed you....can you?

Just for my curiousity, I would like to ask the opinion of the Cat supporters who post on egriz.com something. I have publically maintained (as have several other posters) that the moderators of that board practice selective censorship, according to whether a poster follows the popular line and is a "good little Griz fan". If, however, a poster is critical of the GRiz coaches, or is perceived as negative towards any aspect of the Griz, or to any of the "protected posters", he gets booted.
As a Cat fan who visits that board, and has followed my posting history there, as well as a couple of other recently-deposed posters like OBG-YN, do you think that our being removed was justified? Did we commit violations of policy that were any more blatant than many other "popular posters" over there?
I am a big boy, and will take your feedback in the spirit it is offered. I just value the opinions of "non-Griz fans", who should be a bit more objective about this topic.

IMHO- Yes, you and OBG-YN deserved to be booted.
The difference between BN and egriz is that the BN moderators keep smack on the 'Smack Board' and every thread on egriz turns into smack!
I enjoy reading your posts, particularly since you've moved to BN, because you've been much more civil and seem to have some credible knowlege of football.
It seems though, that your sole motive is to bash Hauck in any means you find available, which probably adds credence among the Bobcat faithful. I think the majority of us hope he has a long career at UM.
I'm a Bobcat & you're a Griz. Cool down on occasion & have a cold one.

You stated that OBG and I should have been booted grom egriz. But, you never gave a reason for why you feel that way. Is slamming Bobby Hauck reason enough to get booted? Many other Griz fans flame and partake in name-calling, yet they don't booted because they're "good Griz fans". I just want to know what I posted on egriz to get booted, in your opinion.
If a Cat poster continually slams Kramer, will he get booted from this
board?
I have more cold ones than I'd care to admit, my friend.

Atta boy, this post actually brought a smile to my face. See now, this is much better to read than the mundane old "poor me, egriz picked on me" crap that you've been stuck on lately. Kudos!Wolfman wrote:any poster who has to use the screen name you use, suffers from penis envy. I'm sure you get misty-eyed when you look between your legs too..........

Hey, sausage-head, I ain't whinin' about the treatment over at esugar. I'm just statin' the facts. Any poster who dares to slam Bobby Hauck, gets the boot. I can list many of them, including me, BoiseGriz, OBG, Savage Paw, Griz Dynasty, and on and on. Of course, I get blamed for being all of these posters, but it's not true.
Objectivity doesn't play well where the Griz denial lurks. Griz fans are having a hard time dealing with losses, which will be piling up as the year progresses.
As for me, i'm on a mission from God to save the Griz program by getting the fan base fired up to dump Hauck. It's gaining momentum, you know. Wait until he loses his 5th game this year.........hehehe
