I've said before that I've enjoyed most of the fans when I've gone to games at State, and no matter what the outcome, I've enjoyed the games. I've also enjoyed the company of fans of State when they come to the University to play. I've never figured out why what could be a good rivalry, of the kind the University has with teams like EWU and Portland, has to devolve into what everyone can agree is immature idiocy of equating UM with "dUMb". I mean, can't we at least agree that suggesting the opposing team and its fans are "dUMb" is something only a moron would dream up, or find funny?

Ahh come on GFuniversity, you call us State. Why can't we make a joke and call you dUMb?
