If we truly had "griz envy" and wanted to be just like them, we could drop our non-con games against Oklahoma State and Cal Poly at the last minute and schedule I-AA patsies, thus giving us 9 home games for the year...

Who were those 1-AA patsies we played this year?? Go back over the last three four or five years and tell me who had more pasties on their schedule.

I believe that you chickened out on going to Cal Poly this year, bailed on them at the last minute, and scheduled 2-8 Northern Colorado in their place. Correct me if that is wrong.

You are wrong. We dropped a road trip to Cal Poly for an additional home game due to financial constraints. Nobody chickened out. However, can hardly state we played a patsies schedule with Maine, Hofstra and Sam Houston.

Wasn't this patsie team, Northern Colorado, the same team that beat you last year????

No, that was last year's Northern Colorado team. This year's team is a different team. If I have to talk this through in baby steps, I can try to use small words. Now, go eat your cookie and lay down for your nap.

True, but explain to me why the griz waited until Cal Poly was nationally ranked and looked dangerous before dropping them off the schedule? That is chicken-sh*t if you ask me. Could it be because the griz don't play well outside the confines of Washington-Bobcat Stadium (2-2 this year so far)?

Just left the presidents office, said not allowed to take naps during work. Ok to have the cookie though. Oh, by the way, I know most of the big words, if you know any feel free to use them.

What part of "We dropped a road trip to Cal Poly for an additional home game due to financial constraints" is confusing to you?

Bozo 2 things.

Griz maybe 2-2 away but at least we didn't lose 2 games at home like the cats. How'd the cat road record work out?

2nd: UNC was favored at the time to compete for the Great Western title it just didn't work out for them.

Too bad the announcement of a Bison match-up turned into a friz smack string.

Let's see, SHS has a winning record, and beat you. Maine & Hofstra are currently both 5 - 5; that may not qualify as patsies, but I really don't think those 3 games could be considered any tougher than our combo of CSU/Cal Poly/SDSU.

But you'd have to say UNC is way tougher than Adams state.

Agreed, but Cal Poly & CSU were WAY tougher than Maine or Hofstra.

Point being, our schedules AND our seasons have been pretty close to the same. When we win this Saturday, I'd venture to say that we are a SLIGHTLY better team than the griz, despite the fact that you will have one more game & we'll be done.

If the griz manage to surprise me again with a W, then I'll have to admit that you are SLIGHTLY better than us...

But I do like our team on paper going into next season as well as the site of the 2005 Brawl...

There is NO doubt in my mind that the 2005 Big Sky Champions WILL be the Fighting Bobcats of THE Montana State University.

I think Maine & Hofstra would beat the cats too.

Pick your poison guys.

I agree that either of these teams could have beaten us early in the season. Not a chance towards then end though.

I haven't been following...have Maine and Hofstra been sliding worse than the Cats of late?

I don't know if I'd say the Cats are sliding. Admittedly the Sac. State game was a meltdown, but leading by 21 pts. in the 3rd Q to one of the hottest teams in the nation was a pretty impressive showing. We lost the game because we couldn't hold it together defensively for the entire game. We have a great football team, as you'll find out on Saturday. :D
